‘Cackling’ defence mechanism: Kamala Harris laughs over American struggles with gas prices

Vice President Kamala Harris is being flamed over her performance at Essence Festival in New Orleans at the weekend after bursting into laughter during a response about the price of fuel.
Keke Palmer pointed out a meme about making gas at home, but Ms Harris appeared to overlook the core issue of addressing the high fuel price in the United States.
Ms Harris responded by repeatedly telling the audience, “don’t do that”, before bursting into laughter and repeating the line again.

I worked at aconvenient store for a short time and the owner got a gas delivery one day. He showed me what he was paying for gas from the refinery and what we were charging pre gal. The store/owner was only making .05 cents/gal. The store owner isn’t the reason gas prices are so high, its the brain dead potato in the White House

My wife's relatives used to run a country store that sold gas. That's about how much they were making a gallon, and they said they were legally not allowed to make any more off gas sales in their state. The only reason they sold gas was because it brought customers into the store buying other items. Without the gas, potential customers would go to another store that did sell gas to do their buying.

Kamala Harris never understands what she is talking about, or who she is talking to. She does not study the issues, and she is addresses answers "off the cuff".
