there has been interesting findings coming out of south america, they have found genetic material indicating that there were people there that had the same ancestors as Australian aborigines. the description of the eastern first nations really dint sound like the first nations on the west coast so the idea that there was more than one group moving to the continents sound about right.

Heads up, i am going to have very carefully check this area out. Not gonna dig or anything and hopefully it's been reburied or at least it's marked so i won't disturb anything, but I've been reading about this place for years and just today found out where it is, and it's only 54 minutes south of where i am.

A solutrian point and Mastadon bones from a kill site was dredged up from 400 feett of water by a scallop dredge the bones were dated 18K years old thus dating the point 18K. The site was on the South side of Norfolk Canyou off VA
