Cactus House | Part 2 GLAZE

Welcome back to the magical (and slightly chaotic) world of pottery! ✨ The deep freeze has finally lifted, and that means one thing-it’s glazing time! This little ceramic cactus house has been patiently waiting, and today, we’re giving it some color and personality.
If you missed Part 1, go check it out to see how I built this tiny home from a lump of clay (all while surviving a week of snow days with my kids-send help). Now that my kiln isn’t an ice block, I can finally fire this piece and bring it to life with some magical glazes.

The cactus house looks fantastic. You are so very creative, the end result is fabulous. The euphorbia planted at the side of the house is the perfect specimen for that area. The aloe and gasteria (???) Look perfect in their little pots. Thanks for sharing, happy potting and take care😊😊

Oh my gosh I can’t believe how amaaazing this turned out! Haven’t watched the video yet but had to say it’s awesome!!! My gosh those underglazes are soo ridiculously priced!! Wow! A sticky house would totally look cool!! Yesss! What a fun idea for Pinterest pins.

@ I don’t get why ANY of them are that high. I get that the materials can be expensive but they don’t have to charge that much! Mayco makes glazes for half the price of Amaco and that just proves that some companies are way overpriced. I did try speedball underglazes and was shocked at how terrrible they are! I even sieved them all and mixed them with a mixer and they are still just horrible! I bought 18 bottles and it took me 2 days to do that to all of them!
