Excellent breakdown! I built a Cad green deck during set 2 because I pulled his showcase and really enjoyed it. And with set three I've pulled 3 Cad Bane units, so I knew I wanted to revisit it and thought about doing the red version cause I really wanted to use Now There are Two of Them with Jabba. And sneak attack with Ruthless Raider is too good to pass up. My first version is similar with a mixture of some of your sideboard pile cards. Gives a lot to test/think about.

I've been running this through on Force Table quite a bit since you released the video. It feels amazing. I will say, there has not been a single time I've chosen to play boba... I know you said "non negotiable" and there aren't a lot of other 3 drop underworld units to replace him with, the best is probably DJ... but his smuggle @ 9 is just too much to have a significant impact

I wouldn't worry about the smuggle on DJ, he would just be an option if you were looking for a 3/5 that costs three.

Great video, I’ve just been building this deck using your set 2 video for reference! No mention of Evazan, even with Ma Klounkee in the deck, do you see him as just too risky?

I only have 1 Bazine so have put a Bib Fortuna in. He has paid out on more than one occasion, even if not optimal. I have no Bobas or new Cads, so I've subbed in a few extra tricks and and Enfys Nests . Not as good, but needs must. I really like your 'more stuff' suggestions!

Ive stumbled across this video trying to make a deck for cad in set 3 hes my favorite bounty hunter so Ive taken some of your ideas. I think I want to try aura sing.

I think Bib Fortuna sounds like a very strong addition and even auto include with a version focused more on events. 1/3 shield is nearly invincible at the start. Guarantees a clean T2 NTATOT with a 6 drop even for example bounty hunter crew, a 4/4 ambush, pinging and returning NTATOT back to hand (leading to a next turn cad bane/fennec/bhc). Tinkering on this list since Boba got suspended but still think og han cunning is/will be the best deck.

If you dont have access to 3 NTATOT would this deck still work with out it? Ive also been testing with Aurra sing shes not a bad card. Even to put a relentless pursuit on her

Yes, I think you can play this deck without NTATOT. I'm not even sure it's better than a more streamlined version. Certainly worth trying without!

@iamwooooo thats good to hear, yeah I think NTATOT can be very clunky in a sense its nice to cheat in units early. But very situational. Id rather my board not have only 1 unit to play it. I need to get around to joining your patreon been listing to your cad deck at work

Couldn't agree more about lady proxima. I've had this argument many times. The card is OK in limited but not good enough for premier. I prefer the green variant but this deck looks solid

How does this deck do against jango red space?I saw the ktod video where they said it struggles against it.If so what can we do to improve this mu?

I would likely want to include more of the space units I talk about in the end of the video if Jango is popular. I think the deck can be modified a bit to have a better match up there.

I've found that adding in reckless gunslingers (one cost like greedo) and daring raid, you can kill their 3 HP 1st drop. Play reckless gun or greedo and daring raid, then on next turn they will feel they have to play a unit, which can keep your underworld unit alive for NTOTOT. If you can bossk that NTOTOT you are in great shape. Of course if they ambush your 1 drop on turn 2, then it doesn't work so hot, but Greedo still gives a chance that they die from greedo s discard (low chance but still)

I tried Doctor but the effect felt too punishing. Ruthless Assassin doesn't seem to be worth the 2 cost here either.

@@iamwooooo Yeah I tried your deck with and without on force table and the extra 1-1 you get from Evazan doesn't really help that much when you're already pinging 1 and doing Ma Klounkee madness. Its super fun tho, I just finished sleeving it for local play!

I really liked the set 2 version but switched out Boba for Toro since it’s impossible to get a hold of Bobas where I live. But toro not being underworld really messes things up that early in the game. What are you thinking to replace Boba with?

​@@devlober not sure, there's not a whole host of 3-drop ground units that fit. Might pivot into space a bit more - Fang Fighter, Lurking Tie or the new Elite P-38.

Seems like the answer is: TT is just too powerful. The double cunning cards outside of cunning itself don’t synergize enough with the deck, and even cunning would mean not playing an underworld card that turn on curve which isn’t what we want.

@@drewferguson8324 I’d expect Asajj to be much more aggro. This deck really isn’t that aggressive, it tries to control the board a lot.

I'm wondering - if going red, why not use Krrsantin or Jango (unit) Although I really like the new unit Cad, wouldn't token system nerf leader Cad's ability?

I think they are too slow to affect the board. We also don’t play any bounties. I don’t expect token decks to be that prominent and his ability does one shot droids.

There really is no unit like him right now I’d say trade some cards in and get at least 2 of him 3 might be a little overkill but 2 of him is fine if you can’t get 3. Not saying 3 is bad but you won’t be too far off with just 2 of Cad cause you can sub in some Fennec units too and maybe something else you can think of

Extra Fennec could take the spot, maybe playing Relentless Pursuit to be able to capture large space units. Lots of things you can try!
