Hey Michael I just built your fantastic Model and I just have to say I was totally blown away by it. The building techniques are soooo sooo awesome, I especially love how you integrated all the Motors into like chassis and the arm as structural Pieces and the incredible SNOT techniques like in the cockpit and the hull for the batterie Box.I had one very strange Problem tho: at first, the 2 functions controlled by the reciever didn't want to work, although they were connected and all, until I discovered, that one of the extension cable was defect, but not completely: one of the Plugs didn't connect, so I had to change it. @@EricTrax No, thank YOU for your great Design! The most impressive thing in my mind is, and I hope that i am not toooo poetic here, is how the Model comes together like a symphony of pieces. I was more than once thinking like: what is this supposed to be? How is this not gonna fall of when the model is finished? And EVERY Single Part has a purpose, I tried to improve it but failed miserably: for example, change the gear ratio so its not as fast: not possible, other gears won't fit. Build in a clutch for the extension function: not possible. You also used EVERY space possible for structural stability. I only could improve cable management, but I think thats no magic. Did you btw notice (of course you did!) how your original shovel and the cada one differ? In the cada model, it doesn't reach the floor quite as good as in your original build. Have a nice day :)

@@theproman317 The bucket has different attachment points. Therefore, the R&D department made changes to the end of the arm. it picked up a bucket and it doesn't work as well as with a lego bucket :/

Built it today with my kids. We all love it! As we have the exact same telehandler on our farm, I'm impressed with the Details. Thank you! Only downfall is, its a bit fragile for the kids to play with, but you cant have it all...

Hi Eric, it is a pleasure to see you here in this video. I just started on the Skidsteer based on the 42100. I am very impressed by your designs. I've already build the Case and the dozer from the 42100. I love your designs. The bulldozer was also a masterpiece! Respect considering the limitations of it being a B model. I love all of your models and this is a great one! The product seems to also be made with care... my Lego brand loyalty is still strong so I have some ambivalent feelings but I have to appreciate these aspects. What concerns me now is this: They can spend so much care and effort on putting together this set, produce quality parts including complicated electronics and still be able to sell it for $200 with some profit? I am afraid that this only works when the company employs dirt cheap labor, which is something I wouldn't like to support.

Thank you for your opinion. Do you realize that advertising and marketing costs have the greatest share in the price of Lego sets? The production cost of the set is the same for CADA and LEGO. They do not bear the cost of licenses, large amounts of advertising and marketing campaigns. Have a nice day! :)

@@EricTrax That's a legit point. I did not take that into account. I admit my concern may be largely based on prejudice. I guess I have heard or read about chinese manufacturers and their employee payslips so many times that I somehow assume it would be the case to some extent. And seeing such a complex model, apparently high quality kit, decent website (it even has a good language mutation to Czech!) for something that in comparison looks like a very cheap price, that in turn makes me think how much is the margin for the end worker.

This sadly leeds to the issue that the shovel is no plan with the ground weich is not cool for the play factor. BR

Model świetny, ale zauważyłem, że servo motor nie pracuje w zakresie +/-90 stopni (tak się zachowuje swobodnie nie podłączone do niczego servo) a jedynie ok. +/-45 stopni. Czy przez to nie zniszczy się szybko ? Bo trafia na opór nie do pokonania a próbuje dalej skręcić.

Skręt jest ograniczony mechanicznie przy zwrotnicach. Skręcanie modelem to chwilowe impulsy, więc ryzyko uszkodzenia silnika jest takie samo jak przy używaniu go w pełnym zakresie bez ogranicznika.
