Thank you for your support and your comment Christian. At some point in the future I will build and showcase the Cada Italian Sports car model. But I have a few other builds and models I'd like do before I get to that one.

Am I the only person to think LEGO quality is no longer what it was? In recent years I've started experiencing poor printing on parts, mistakes in instructions, scratched parts and some components not going together as well as the should. I feel I'm the only person that has noticed this. We pay a premium for genuine LEGO but for me the quality is not what it once was. This model looks awesome, I wish LEGO would release models that looked this good, it has such a clean minimul studded look, and more importantly I don't do see blue technic pins all over the model. Great review!

You are not alone on the quality topic with regards to Lego. Just search on the Sian Super car set and the issues. Especially for that money!

Thanks for your comment TotallyAddicted2Bricks! I agree, Lego parts too, can suffer from quality issues. I particularly hate it how I often find scratched parts (especially black coloured parts) and/or parts with dings (mainly plates) in some of the sets I buy. But if you build older vintage sets (say from the 80's, 90's or 00's) you actually notice that more modern Lego parts are better in comparison to parts produced at that time. I experienced this recently when I was building an original 10039 (Black Falcon's Fortress) produced in 2002. This Cada model 'looks' good on camera, but it is when you are building and closely handling the parts that you really notice they are not up to Lego's standard. That said I felt, in some cases (not all), CaDa's Technic parts to be better than Lego's equivalent. I really like their pins and connector type elements for example.

@@CraftedBricks I think I just expect more of LEGO because of the prices they charge for their products, I feel that leaves them nowhere to hide. It has lately resulted in me majorly reducing the Lego Star Wars sets i now collect as I have gone down the alternative route of Hasbro Star Wars 3.75" Vintage Collection figures and vehicles which I get much more enjoyment out of. I hate to say that because I have been in to LEGO all my life. The CaDa review was a very interesting insite in to an alternative brand doing their own thing. It would be great to see more reviews on these sets, hopefully those quality issues you picked up on may improve over time. Awesome channel btw, only recently subscribed but loving the content!

Great reply! ...and yes I agree with you, with the high cost of Lego sets we certainly should be expecting more. But also I think it means we have to pick and choose the sets we do or do not buy. Like you I've pulled right back on buying poorly designed system scale sets and only go for UCS type sets or the good Ideas, Technic or Creator Expert sets. Thanks for your comments on my channel/content, it means a lot! I'm still figuring out things as I go and I want to get more efficient and faster at making videos, but all in good time, it is a learning experience! Cheers, Simon

Excellent, I think you'll enjoy the build and the model itself it is good value for money for what it is, especially given it has 5 motors and is fully radio controlled. At some point I will build the Italian Super car model and do a video on that model too.

@@CraftedBricks looking forward to your review of the car. What convinced me to buy the Telehandler, was your comment it has many steps / many pieces to add per build step. I feel that Lego has made Technic way too easy to build by only having a couple of bricks in each build step. It is almost like building a City set. I find it not challenging enough anymore. Yes, the piece count per set is much higher with Technic comnpared to City, but is not complex at all anymore.

Ah I see, yes you'll definitely enjoy this build then, it's somewhat more challenging than a standard Technic build. Be careful with the orientation of the differentials and I'd recommend powering up some of the motors at various stages in the build to check that all the gearing and moving parts are working correctly before you progress to a stage in the build where it will be difficult to back-track. Enjoy!

As the MOC was designed with Lego PF: If you habe an old Lego XL motor it works much better as only half the speed for the drive.
