Simple but perfect ad for Cadbury's Smash instant mash potato.
A group of aliens who are studying us earthlings are discussing the antiquated way in which traditional mashed potato is made.
Their laughter levels gradually increase as one of the Aliens explains the step by step approach to making mashed potato.

The advert might be memorable but peeling potatoes then boiling, mashing, then adding butter and salt... is way nicer than this "Smash" from the advert. Yes it's quick... but it's more expensive and it's way off what actual mashed potatoes are like. Don't you miss those little lumps of potato you get when it's done properly? Come on! The advert is good, but it's the only good thing about this product - the marketing. No one ever talks about the comparison between Smash and real mashed potatoes.

i was a little boy and remember this advert very well :) in the green ALIEN also has a flag made with him on it for "WORMS ARMAGEDDON" computer game :) used by a player that sometimes logs in as "GREEN FEVER"

If you made it with hot milk. butter and a touch of garlic salt, or a little bit of cheese sauce powder; it was very nice. The tight fisted who only used boiling water have only themselves to blame for their dire results. Made an excellent cottage pie topping
