I did this with my beta fpv 85x whoop, fitted perfectly, they used the nano camera in it with the adaptor to bring it up to micro camera size so this fits in great and makes flying such a more fun experience - you don't need to disassemble the vista though to change the camera cable, just undo the screw to the right and remove the tension bar and the cable will pop out, getting it in is a bit tricky but nothing a big magnifying glass won't solve.

Heat sink paste should always be replaced after separation Andrew. Air pockets do not transfer heat that well. Guess I'll have to wait for the next flight with the camera for FPV then. Good to see it happened close by and the Aermacchi survived!!!

So when I have a caddx polar vista HD cam with 60 FPS can I only change the camera to nebula pro and have 120 fps without Firmware Update?

Can I plug a Dji au camera into a caddix vista that has a nebula . And vice versa back and forth? Will it work either way…. I want to swap a nebula for my nebula pro,,, and also swap the nebula pro, for a Dji au camera?

Yes they all swap, same cables

Do I haven't to take apart the vtx to change the cable, or can I just open the camera like you show near the end

To change the cable fully you need to undo both. To swap cameras you only need to undo the camera end

i recently swapped a nano camera with a nebula pro. i kept the cable the nano was using and when i fire up nebula pro i get about 10 seconds of video in the goggles and then it goes black. everything seems to still show its transmitting video but the camera settings are greyed out. its as if vista thinks i still have the nano attached. not quite sure if i missed any settings, thoughts?

Hi Andrew intend to Use Caddx Nebula Pro on my Mavic Air 2 with the Dji Googles 1if i understand V1 has one Screen V2 has 2 2inch Screens I have one good left Eye and useless crooked right Eye . I google with lenses i see onle half of the Display I dont like the noisy DJI FPV and i am not interested in FPV racing .i am 80 years old on have not the speed of a 18 year old but i like flying taking Video Photos and especial Panoramas ...a marvel from the Sky i started out 3 years ago with Parrot Bebop 2 and also like the small manual Drone in my Backyard Andrew you live on the Gold coast and i am in south Brisbane i would like to meet with you sometime i will contact you later on your email and give you my Contact info Hermann
