@@moereefer I’m meeting an eye on it but I think the mouth got cut. Just crazy bad luck.

I think those are Caribbean cup corals that hitchhiked onto your rock. Haven't ever been able to keep it alive long term.

@@thomasdirocco that’s interesting. I’ll read up more on those.

Great update on the tank! Do you have a favorite doser among all those, or are they all the same to you?
@theloneaquarist2 ай бұрын
My favorite daily doser is actually not shown there and that's the Neptune DOS. I have this mounted on the inside wall. It's integration into the APEX UI and ease of setting up a very particular dosing regimen is why I like it most. I use it for Alk and Ca supplementation. Second is the Kamoer X1 PRO T2 -- and this is for constant dosing. I use it to feed the kalk reactor 24/7.

Chris Meckley has picked top 3 corals at a few events on Reefbuilders KZbin channel. He gave a top 3 to an amazeballs Goni because it looked so good. The coral grower who was selling the Goni claims to have good success with them. He said his secret is to keep the amazeballs in tanks that have no other Gonis in the tank because he thinks other Gonis are releasing something into the water that amazeballs does not like. I’m not saying remove your other Goni, but if that guy is correct, it might help to move the Amazeballs far away from the other Goni.

I’ve actually heard some rumblings about that. That is definitely something I should think about.
