We are witnessing a new Cade Cunnigham. The Pistons surrounded him with shooters and the right vets. They found a coach who's done this before- taking the Cavaliers from a 22-win team to a 44-win team in 1 season. JB Bickerstaff brought an "old-school mentality" to the team. He set a dress code for practice, got guys to care about defense, make the extra pass, and most importantly, play with pride.

He hasn't been doing it at this level, Cade has shown serious growth even during the season so far. Not saying that he wasn't balling out, but he's on another level this year. Combine that with vets that are playing solid and you get a decent team that can actually win games.

@@Djturnt That's simply not true, even at the beginning of this year he struggled to understand when to get his own and when to find teammates. He's finding that balance now. Sure, the skill was there, but he's putting it together now.

@ no last year he was just as good the stats and numbers tell the story and if you actually watch every game like I do you know that. He had barely nba level talent on the team last year and non shooters

There's levels to this, watch games at the beginning of this year, Cade was turning the ball over a lot because he was making the wrong decisions more often on when to get his own and when to create for others or just pass it off and let somebody else create. He's also been far more engaged on the defensive end this year, which is understandable considering how last year went. He's more efficient this year. I'm not saying it has nothing to do with the new vets, because the vetshave played a key role, but Cade has made major improvements throughout this year just.
