We at Villioti Fashion Institute, are just so grateful for this wonderful scholarship that Stephanie has decided to support, it might be for one person, but that one person will be able to change his or her life, but all of there family’s, So in actual fact it’s not just one life it affects its many. Thank you to everyone who has made this possible, we will definitely keep you posted on who the person is when they are chosen, and why we feel this person deserves the support. Plus we will follow their progress throughout their studies, and further. Thank you Stephanie all Lalanders, and everyone who watches this awesome show. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼❤️🇿🇦🤓🥂😷 Spero Villioti

So glad you liked the Bibles. I sent them in September, so all these months and I wondered if they ever got there at all! Thank you for letting me participate in your world for the Chapel. May God Bless you and Keep you with your friends and family. - Sheryl P.
@gailcraig44953 жыл бұрын
Stephanie & Mummy: I'm thinking each bible should be kept in gallon-size zippered plastic bags (large "zip-locks") while stored due to potential of mold growing on paper if any moisture in the chapel.
@lianegordon9713 жыл бұрын
That was a very thoughtful gift. I think that many people who visit the Chapel in years to come (religious or not) will find solace in those bibles.
@teresacarle2943 жыл бұрын
📚It was a precious gift📿, esp. in English and French as well as Protestant and Catholic versions. You have multiplied the chances a visitor will be touched by your thoughtfulness. 👍 🕊God bless you! ~~~~~~~~~ 📖Re: Book Storage💧. As a precaution, it would be fine for them to be kept short term in an 🔓unlocked* zippered plastic bag in pews. *😣NOTE: A sealed plastic bag will increase humidity & encourage mold growth. If they go zip-loc bag route, they need to affix a Label about the importance of leaving unsealed. For protection of Bible/Hymnal, plz do not 🚫 SEAL bag. 🎉 They would need to add one of those tiny silica gel packets that come with new shoes (& other products) in order to "wick away" any moisture. 🤔Think you can acquire a supply of those online. $5 USD on Amazon for 100 1g packets. ⚒They could DIY a version of the above with coffee filters and non-clumping 😸cat litter sand. The filter is porous enough to keep litter contained while not diminishing it's affinity for water💦 in any discernible way. 👩🔬One of the "hygroscopic substances" available on the cheap is a mineral called "zeolite" which is the main ingredient in the above😽. 👨🔬The truth is folks have been balancing humidity for ages without elaborate A/C systems. Cigars are another item sensitive to moisture💦 in environment. Hence, the creation of humidors. They use special gauges and chemicals to ➕add moisture as well as ➖remove it. 👩🏫Maybe they shouldn't store them all there in the Chapel long term. Only leave a couple on hand for someone wanting spiritual comfort. Bring out the bulk of books for services. 🔍No expert, but I am a book lover. ⬇️This resource below goes in much better detail on the subject. 👩⚖It would be easy enough to manage if someone @ ⚜LaLande was willing to take ownership of 📗Library (or archival duties). 📆 Also maybe put Book Chores on some kind of bi-monthly or quarterly rota for dusting, pest & mold prevention. Just like a 🌱planting schedule, Martha Stewart would want this function on the 🏰estate house-keeping calendar. Think that is 🗝Chatelaine Stephanie's territory to spearhead the creation of some sort of 📅master calendar 🗂 as well as suitable training for each assignment. 👩💻While Super Star, Nati, manages the day-to-day scheduling, actual training, & running of B&B related things. lifehacks.stackexchange.com/questions/15696/how-to-store-books-in-less-than-ideal-conditions

What a wonderful plan to start a scholarship to the fashion school. Often times some of the most talented artists can not afford to train in their chosen field and to know that we all played a part in helping someone move higher in life is a great honour. Yet again the gifts were so thoughtful and the art and fashion chosen to fit each person. It is obvious that you evoke a loving response from us all.

A scholarship! So fantastic! I'm an educator myself, and someone who has studied the arts for over 15 years, it's such a JOY that Lalande is helping to fund education in this area that so often is neglected in scholarship funding! Many thanks for this! I'm even happier watching the ads now!
@demoiselledelamontagne3 жыл бұрын
I like the idea of local charities, orphanage, shelter homes, etc. They're the ones that really struggle for funding and they do concrete work. Big/well known organisations have many donors and income streams, and frankly spend a lot on meetings/conferences, travel and salary rather than "real" work.
@chasethecat38393 жыл бұрын
I agree. I worked for a co that processed non profit donations. You'd be surprised where some of that money ends up. I like scholarships too.

Yup. I used to work for non profits, big and small. Yes I like the scholarship idea too. Anything that will go directly to the real needs.

I agree, if Natie wants to keep it, it should definitely be hers :) But we know she'll she will share if an occasion calls for it. Considering how well it fits her, I'm not sure it should be in the costume closet :D

She looked marvelous pairing it with the elegant Mardi Gras mask too⚡. 😉 Would definitely suggest she keep it squirreled away in her own closet for a special costume event. 🦋
