Cadence CP2000 14.5m Pole Review

Watched a few vids on cadence poles and rods and they look really good quality gear... The poles have been made on the Daiwa UK mandrel so depending on grade of carbon used it should feel like a Tourny X or even the Air. James Robbins the head honcho at Cadence seems a real top bloke and deals with the customers personally... you don’t get that with other companies. The Cadence videos he does are good viewing and well worth a watch.

I like how they allow you to configure what you need, buy the basic pole and then add what top kits or sections you need.

Brilliant customer service at cadence, James and Martine do a wonderful job , but as with most through covid, have struggled a little with stock

I've been waiting for an unbiased review. I've not seen anyone with the CP2000 on the bank yet to ask anyone their thoughts on the pole. It looks like a very nice pole at 13m and i'd love to see how the action changes once the 14.5m and 16m with just the powerkits and a long 4 on. great review.

Im the same as you Ben heard good things about it but the only time I've seen somebody fishing with one is James Robbins on his vlogs he often fishes 16 MTRS on the river it looks ultra stiff and at 14 MTRS it's as good as anything on the market. I suppose some people might be put off because it ain't daiwa , maver, Preston, etc but it really looks excellent for the money

I've got the CP800 margin pole they do, and its absolutely spot on for the money. Desperate to get hold of the CP2000 someday, its a bonus that all 3 of their poles are completely interchangeable.

Good informative review as always. I really rate Cadence gear, so much so I've swapped all my gear to Cadence. Now waiting for the luggage to be released too.

Very underrated brand but if you know you know. I’ve got the 9m and 6m whips, being a natural venue angler, and they are very impressive and stand up well if not better than the mainstream brands costing a fair bit more. If I had had the opportunity to look at the pole properly, and this review would of been very useful, I may have bought one. Sadly, this option wasn’t available at the time what with Covid and lockdowns etc. and so I went in a different direction. Must add that the customer service and backup from James Robbins is excellent too. Definitely a brand to consider.

Hi Ben, did you really think this was better at the longer lengths than your z8-2. Im just about to buy the z8-2 but your making me doubt now, i need to be able to fish long comfortably!

Yes, absolutely shocked me a great pole if it was my money that's were it would go over browning I had 3 number 5s go on mine and wasn't under stress

Was going to buy one of these but saw a butt section of the 2000 completely smashed and the bloke said it just collapsed while fishing for roach put me right off
