Bro, I watched your computer number video and this video also, I must say you are very good in explaining things in a concise and effective manner. I have subscribed and please post more videos I watch a lot of youtube (not just flying rest also) but you seem like a very genuine and knowledgeable dude, you would gain a nice audience if you keep posting. Anyways...I went to submit my DGCA class 2 medicals today and we asked the retired group captain doctor on his opinion on cadet vs conventional. He was saying that I should go for CPP saying domestic pathway me it takes around 90L (i guess chimes one). Cost like living expense or other i guess i can manage with my little savings from my first job. and saying that saving money through the conventional pathway I am giving up on Time that would be saved. I am in a very tough dilemma lol. Because my father can arrange funds (by using up all his savings) for CPL + TR (60-70L) but that is the max. For CPP we have to take loan for rest of funds . Infact my father says to go for cadet pilot programme because it has Job guarantee and I won't have to you know be jobless or be apprehensive about that. Anyways, I am rightnow focusing on leaving my job first because I hate it lol and complete DGCA exams in 6-7 months ideally and also give class 1 medical...then I would have to decide. One question I have is, for CPP route how do you know they are inviting applicants for the process? I inquired from Chimes Aviation they just left my message on read. I am asking this because I have to revise my class 11 and 12 phy maths for their entrance also then because it has been 4 years almost since I completed my 12th class!

i really want to be a pilot,, my family has arranged the funds,, but about one thing, i m not sure about is that i have THYROID as a medical condition,, and as everybody knows it most likely not curable. Could you please Clarify on this? whether i that will be a problem or not? Also i am going to be 26yr old soon.

I would suggest you to get your medicals done (atleast class 2), if your medical examiner gives you a green signal, then only you could come to a conclusion...

It depends on how severe it actually is. If it's not too high, you might be required to get a green chit from a cardiologist while doing your medical... Your medical examiner might guide you for this...
