Underrated roster move IMO. The fact that dev1ce can focus on only AWP again makes this move more than viable. Also Cadian can frag, even as a rifler. He won't be a liability fragging wise and he can be a secondary AWP if ever needed. Ofc I feel sorry for Br0 but I think Cadian will bring way more to the table at this point in time.

This move will work out if Stabbi and to some degree Stavn have matured and gained some perspective from playing under other igl, that playing with cardian as igl while not perfect then still likely one of the best they will ever play under!

@pimpcs2 All in all, this make total sense despite their history crudges. Interesting to watch what the team dynamic would be like. Also May it be a personal interest, but can there be a world where Magisk would be rejoining Astralis in this roster? Lets be honest I like Staehr very much, but when you look at his stats, it has not been ideal compared to the hype around his immense talent. He has now survived multiple roster changes in the lineup and not overly impressed by his performances. I might be wrong, but a lineup with Device, Stavn, Jabbi, Cadian and Magisk. Would that aint’ be something? Could be interesting hearing your thoughts 🙂

Good quesiton. cadiaN will most likely take a lot of the ancor roles with a rifle / 2nd awp CT side. However with time people forget how good device was with a rifle, so maybe they'll switch it up a bit more with time.

With HooXi on the market, I feel getting him instead of CadiaN on a rifle makes sense. Also, yes Cadian has experience playing with Stavn and Jabbi. And what happened... They hated it! Stabbi literally happened because they refused to play with him anymore and got him kicked from the team! They say they've worked through their issues, but lets see how they feel in 6 months...

Maybe their original plan was to create a coup so Heroic would kick them both, so Astralis would buy them for a cheaper price, then Cadian would join Astralis later. But Heroic next move wasn’t what they expected(kick the IGL) , so Astralis still need to spend tons of money to buy them both, while Cadian need to find different options in Team Liquid :))) It’s all make sense now
