We got 2 big ol’ rear wheel drive cruisers lining up for you today on TvT. ‪@PitbullTorres‬ swapped an LT4 into his CTS-V, and he didn’t stop there - ported heads, a ported blower, and 3-piece beadlock wheels complete the package. Meanwhile the LT1 in Kyle’s Camaro SS has upgraded pistons and rods from Wiseco, is running methanol, and has a big red button on the streering wheel that “literally does nothing.” We’ll see Kyle, we’ll see.

Honestly? I find his fuel efficiency claim hard to believe because a stock Cadillac CTS-V with less horsepower can't do what he's claiming his car does. Hell, a lighter weight stock C7 Z06 doesn't get that kind of fuel mileage. At any rate, his car is bad-ass!

procharger top end is always insane once it peaks boost after 3500rpm. I miss my P1X setup for my z07 but turbo setup is power all around from the launch to the top end. CTS-V i expected him to win but he didnt want to lose it I understand. When you get squirrelly at 80+ MPH it will boil down to is it worth the win lol. I can tell the Canadian does some street racing clearly. CTS-V was a clear pro-track veteran though.

Excellent match, Camaro has great top end power which won the race. Caddy was putting the jump on off the line, but not quite enough top end HP to pull the Camaro! Both cars are badass, and liking the CTS-V's 25 mpg figure!

I have always been a 4door person, I was leaning for Caddy but those centrifugal blowers tend to make some more up top if they are big enough. Awesome race and good work from MT camaro, those 10speeds are hard to out-shift. I wonder what the actual power to power figures are... I would love to see a dyno graph overlay from the LT1 and the LT4. This was one of my favorite races yet.

They are pretty much the same engine both 6.2 ones a ls3 with lt4 parts and a procharger one is a lt4 with some upgrades both make about the same power Camaro makes a little more top end hp caddy makes more torque and is heavier

Great races , mega props to camaro driver for consistency , skill , knowing his weapon , and getting off the rounds with bolt action vs auto . I did notice the Cadu created more smoke then Camaro which means some engine power was converted to heat via tires instead of forward thrust , probably enough to get enough early lead to hold off the Camaro up top or be dead even . Either way , impressive for non prepped surface which I personally find more impressive and tells me about a car and the driver . If you use your car regularly and it kills at track but gets smoked on street by lesser cars because it can not hook its like being book smart but no common sense . Race cars are like being a scholar or serious athlete but I like something you might run into on the road . Props to Cadillac owner for the 25 MPG Hwy which makes his car SUPER STREETABLE , GM never fully got props for its ability to make effecient cars. My Spd LS-1 SS got 33+ on hwy and Moms C5 auto around same which was BONKERS . GM also made a cheap turd called the cobalt eco that was nicely in the 40s combined that was basic with manual and low resistance tires , it was inexpensive , simple ( less to break ) and if one ACTUALLY wanted good effeciency including COST from A- B it was a GREAT CAR that worked . People claimed America WOULDNT make effecient cars and when they made one of the most effecient and cheapest to own and operate did not buy it . To be fair as Is the case often GM did not market it heavily and people were not aware of how good it was in that segment . People who bought them were particulary happy and every penny of value was in the car for its design purpose AND despite performance not being a thing because of eco tires you did get the joy of the manual which also meant no hinky cheap auto trans to fail so if you could drive it would last and cheap to maintain and fix . GM did what people said they wanted and then said , oh we didn't think you would do it , similar to car companies getting burned releasing MT cars . Hyundai repackaged the I30 a euro and australian car of higher quality and performance then the cheaper elantra as a ELNTRA HATCN version that was great in N -Line trim , inexpensive and with MT a d with Hyundais consistent rebates and dealer incentives one could be had for 20K!!!! In 2019 when you got the MT car instead of DCT( 1200.00 more ) and nobody bought them and of tne ones sold .ike 1-2 % had MT ( manual cars came stock with PS4 S tires ) , the ONLY CHEAP HATCH at the time , able to get to 60 in 6.4 seconds , tons of grip for very fun street handling despite no LSD and 30+ avg mpg and high 30s hwy making it a BRAND NEW car for used car prices and great transportation with a modicum of fun with great seats etc and HYUNDAI discontinue it for the U.S. despite being one of their better products and people bought the regular elantra in droves despite being no where near as good , solid , advanced , practical and fun. Still sold well in other markets as most people understand the value of hatch if your gonna have a low end model anyway, no Brainer . Camaro has nearly 80k on stock block as a fast car that still road trips , props tho Chevy V8s .

Excellent match! CTS-V would have won with the Camaro tire. Procharger makes more power, but twin screw supercharger has very predictable low end power. Low end power heavy vs high end power light
