That's a great tip. I use fields for all sorts of title block attributes and was always wondering if there was a way to contain the info in the tabs. Nice!

Great Tip. I plan to implement. I've used a similar idea I picked up to have a field in my layout that updated the scale. Would never have found Ctab!

Is there a field I can use to update the total number of layout tabs I'm using, as in "2 of X" or "5 of X" , but it updates all the title blocks when I add in a new Layout ?

I'm not sure off the top of my head but I can definitely look into it! I've used a custom dwgprop before to add the total number of layouts to my title block with success before though. You need to update it manually in the dwgprops but only once typically and then it updates in all the sheets you used the field on. In my titleblock I have two sections, one is to callout the NAME of the layout, but I do have to callout the NUMBER of the page. That means that if I'm in the LAYOUT called: SHEET A1, but this is placed in the third layout, in the Titleblock I need to place SHEET A1, and then the NUMBER '3' at a different place. How can I do that? Combined both, LAYOUT NAME and LAYOUT NUMBER of page? Thanks
