Just the advice I’ve been looking for! My set came without the peg clips and all the other advice I found on the web assumes you know that’s what you are working with... Many thanks!

Thank you! We had missed the holes on the shelves so were scratching our heads figuring this out!

Would be cool to see the back side of the cabinet to understand how it hooks onto the metal pegs. I have an HG system that I got without hardware - uggh! and trying to piece it all together and understand.

This! I wanted to see what the mechanism is like on the back of the cabinet, and how it fastens on to the rails

I don’t understand how they can be so sturdy but built so simply

Did you use wall anchors before installing the rails or it is a must to find the studs in the walls?

I’m wondering the same thing. It would really suck to have to find the studs

What's the hole space on the rails?

You’d think 32” apart to hit stud, but….UK/EU framing is 15.75” (40cm) while 16” on center is more common in US. It’s pretty tricky actually to get the vertical supports to hit the wood wall studs on Cado wall units larger than 1 single bay. I’ve got a 3 bay unit, and there’s no way to hit the studs without having large gaps (greater than 3/16”- 1/4” each side) between the shelving and the vertical supports. You can always use wall anchors especially if there’s not a lot of weight to support.
