CADPAT Clone Waterproof Rain Jacket | Ridgeline Tactical Version 3.0

I was given the change to check out the latest revision of waterproof jackets from Ridgeline Tactical! They have refined their CADPAT clone rain jacket to have some new additional features that make this jacket a must have for those wanting something lightweight and close enough to CADPAT that you can use under your kit. I really enjoy the kit that Ridgeline has and it is a veteran owned and supported business relying on the end users feedback to consistently improve their products!

Tempest Rain Jacket - Gen 3:
The redesigned Tempest Rain Kit, modified according to your feedback. Featuring new additions such as:
- Completely redesigned material. The inner liner has been replaced with a --TPU Coated Stretch Memory Fabric with the outer liner being replaced with a - TPU Coated Polyester Twill.
- Side seams and zippers have been reinforced with heavier gauge material and triple stitched.
- Upgraded YKK zippers to prevent splitting.
- Velcro panels added to side pockets.
- Velcro cuff closures have been replaced with elastic cuff closures.
As well as previous Gen features:
- Weighs only 425g
- Water resistant rubberized zipper closures
- Drawstring hood and waist
- Pit zips
- Horizontal hood drawstrings
- Dropped shoulder seam for greater freedom of movement

I love CADPAT! Our woodland MARPAT is such a dull green. I guess the CADPAT is designed for coniferous forests like the Boreal.

Another item I can see a civilian market for. That is good for the manufacturer. A non military camouflage version for hunters and various other colours for other outdoor people.

It's been raining a lot here lately some of those would certainly be handy Still hoping to see a video soon on the kamaz Typhoon Another Interesting topic that you have personal experience with I'd like to learn more about vehicle maintenance kind of more the specifics like what kind of parts typically wear out in the field on something say like the Warrior challenger 2 How often do you need to change the oil the brakes And how large the support footprint for a lot of combat units is like what kind of support vehicles are typical before you were talking about changing the power packs on vehicles and some stuff like that So I guess you could say I've been pretty interested lately in vehicle maintenance and upkeep it like the real cost of maintaining and keeping specific systems running and functioning year by year I understand that there are certain things that you probably can't talk about or say When you get into the specifics of certain components or systems. Keep up the good work man.

I can see why we moved away from tripods, it's just heavy and takes up too many men. It's OK in a defensive role but even then if you need to move it you need 3 guys where with a PKM or a similar weapon one guy can operate it even from the shoulder.

We didn't move away from them. They are still used often, in the defense because they are more stable/accurate. But you don't drag it around in the offense or patrol because of weight & CommonSense.

lol as if anyone cares. Let’s be honest I’d rather have a jacket that keeps me dry than worrying about someone using NVG’s to see me which the likelihood of that happening is zero as 1. The CAF barely even has any. 2. If we went to war I wouldn’t be using the jacket anyway and 3. If you are worried about NVG’s then I can assure you that 99% of the non issued tac vests people are buying also have the same problem with being seen as they are not coated with treatment that stops it. So in theory, it makes no difference

One of the main reasons in think recruitment is so down form the perspective of a young man is due to the fact that the army just looks like a bunch of fat old guys now. Don’t mean to be disrespectful but as someone who grew up playing sports and always being told fitness is key and seeing the calibre of men in the army it’s just extremely disappointing. I grew up looking at marines uk paratroopers and just expected that to be the standard for all fighting forces. But I look at the caf and see nothing but overweight men running around(if you can call it running) with guns and it’s just demotivated me to join. At the end of the day the more the standard lowers the more recruitment of young men lowers and no matter what you say you need young fit men to fight your battles. The 45 year old overweight infantry reservist can only run so far.

Then join something else you clearly haven’t seen inspection divers Ntog, pilot among many other specialist that require top form. You barely put any effort into seeing what the caf has to offer if that’s your concern. If you were actually preparing you would know the major reasons for low recruitments. You probably haven’t even lurked in armyca nor R caf I bet.

You’re pretty misinformed. The troops in this video all are fit and able to do more than what you think. Also I’m 35 and still nail and fitness test and can probably out ruck and deadlift yourself… Best not to judge a book by its cover bud, it doesn’t get you far in life most the time.
