Man, TL played surprisingly well the majority of the game then just choked hard at the end. Forced an engage when 2 of their teammates are nowhere in sight. Then proceeded to engage on all but the 2 highest DPS champs in T1's comp. Summit tunnel visioned so bad for Faker there.

We had the same problem we do every year, are fundamentals are worse so even if we play the early game better we end up with more kills and less gold. So we have to try to make hero plays on the late game while the Asian teams just have to make standard plays.

Team Liquid is by far my favourite western team even tho I'm european. I'm so so glad and proud for the performance they showed us. Pyosik was definitely the MVP of the game and I can't wait to see him play Kindred or Viego 😮. APA and his first year in Pro scene is just amazing... Faker landed full ori combo onto Aphelios and Syndra was stunned for that entire fight. After Ashe ulti, Syndra got hit with Sejuani ult and then a Renata ult. They should show the damage contributions from each player there, that'll actually tell the whole story. Also, Pyosik did kick ori into his team there, but it didn't do anything because the damage was already gone. CoreJJ played pretty poorly this entire game, and this decision to go in really inted his carries.

TL played pretty well through most of it, but had some serious inconsistencies (ie aphelios being bot and losing mid t2 for free) that allowed T1 to keep up in gold. T1, alternatively, played fairly sloppy through all of it. In the end, i disagree with those telling me "T1 almost lost to NA"; the game was definitely close, but i dont think TL ever came very close to "winning" the game. they were definitely ahead, but T1 was playing sloppy and not far behind, so as soon as they remembered their brains were in their noggins i see T1 winning that game all day long
