Unless kids or property ownership come into the picture, there's really no benefit to marriage, so I wouldn't either.

Chastin Siegel What makes so many marriages fail is the sense of obligation. You HAVE TO... What makes the success of marriage or a any relationship is the love, loyalty, partnership. That is what really matters. Maybe they get marriage one day, but they have only 1year together. I understand what the meaning of above comment, marriage facilitate legal issues. Only.

You have to be really careful though. I say this with the best of intentions. Depending what state you live in, and for how long you live together without an official "marriage document" meaning if you are considered "common law". If anything thing happens to either party, your significant other may have no rights... Be it Dean's family, or Caelynn's family can come in and take over and cut "you" out. No matter what discussions may have been had, between you both. His or her family can come in as "next of kin" and make all decisions on what is best for him or her..... Dean, Caelynn, then you may not have any rights. Being "married" officially will cement those rights... Your wearing the rings, why not make it official on paper and make sure either of you are covered, if (god forbid) anything terrible happens... Other than that.. I wish you all the best in future love and life....

Roy. Dean loves Caelynn he does not want to cement her to him with a piece of paper. It’s obvious they are happy. But out. Period.
