This was the most powerful moment in the game for me. On a whim, Caesar doing what was right despite certain death, Lucy finally showing just how much she cared about her best friend… and then the miracle happens, just like the legend of the first Overlord. The setup for this chapter’s finale is about as perfect as you can get from a storytelling perspective.

for me its this one and when Belobog Koleda is piloting the construction machine vs the giant Ethereal, her speech, the music and cutscene gave me chills. super well done. cant wait to see what else Mihoyo cook's next.

Any emotional value is lost from her sacrifice since we all know she isn’t dead. Only people with down syndrome would think this is good storytelling.

The only complaint I have: A grenade went off in her hand. They had a perfect solution right there, with her prosthetic left hand. Make it the story of how she got it, or just have her have to get a replacement. One nitpick. Otherwise, it's perfect.

I honestly think this may be my favorite story chapter so far The environment and lore of Blazewood is so compelling and the Sons of Calydon are such an entertaining faction I honestly didn’t expect this ending either LOL

I thought she sounded familar so I think Lucy's new VA (after Courtney Lin was replaced) is now Elsie Lovelock. I've been familiar with her voice thanks to her role as Callirhoe in Genshin and it kinda sounds the same.

Man, this sounds really good. I like how it's muffled at first during Caesar's sacrifice scene, but then it blasts the full song when she miraculously returns. I think the vocalist is also the same as the "Come Alive" theme song.

Here's the thing despite her being a new character, because of Himeko in HI3 who got a skin just before her death, I was sort of willing to believe she could indeed be a posthumus character that get release with the full arc of the character sacrifice who left a huge mark on remaining characters. I was actually wondering if they would kill her off immediately after her release as Mihoyo literally don't hold anything back from time to time. If the game was made by anyone else I wouldn't have bought it at all but them... I actually kind of believed it for a moment that they could do so.

God, Caesar just continues to be the best character in this game. Everything about her, from her design, her strength, her stoic demeanor with her underlying pureness, she is just the best and this cements it. Absolutely love her, and hope she continues to get some story moments here and there in the future.

The themes embodied in this scene reminds me of Kiana and her fight against the Herrscher of Dominance. Everyone can run away from certain destiny, but those that charge forward, they are the ones that make a difference. Love the theme btw, it made me feel so melancholic and all. I am so glad I witnessed this scene. Peak story-telling by ZZZ and Hoyo here!
