I think it is incredible that such small creatures (like a beautiful cat, like a small dog) can leave such an ENORMOUS loss and gap in our lives when they are gone. Just wanted to say that it was kinda nice to hear of someone else going through exactly what I’m going through rn, I lost my kitty Leo a few weeks ago, he was only 1 1/2 years old, idk what happened, my neighbors found his body in their barn, not a scratch on him. Leo was like one of my soul mates, his soul felt like I’ve known him in lifetimes before and he’s always been my kitty. I know he’ll find his way back to me in another life form, but my soul misses his presence and all that he brought to my life. Kisses and hugs to all who might need it, love and light peeps 😘😘

I lost my soul kitty Cosmo to cancer a year and a half ago and I still can hardly think of him without feeling the pang of loss in my heart and my eyes feel with tears. Any loss is so painful and it's important to give ourselves the grace and understanding while we greive, as long as it takes.

I deeply admire the strenght you have to periodically connect and share your heart with us. I was just listening to this in the background, while type up a tribute to my dog who died last week, and suddenly I heard your voice talking about missing your fur baby. It was like at the exact moment that I was missing mine your words came through. I understand how you might be feeling. Loosing him has reminded me that there are no guarantees, things shift and change and it's hard to understand why.

I lost my rescue cat teddy, I only had him for 2 years, he died of a lung tumour due to the neglect of his previous owner 😢 just weeks later another rescue cat walked into my life, I wasn't looking to get another cat so soon. It was actually very healing to look after another cat ,it doesn't replace the one you have lost . Xxxx🥰

Love how your mushroom painting is coming along. I believe you've said this is a commission? If so, would you feel comfortable sharing your process of negotiating the timeline/process with the client??? You've now been working on this for more than a year!

Thank you! It isn't a commission, it is part of my personal (and most important) project so far! I wouldn't really know how to charge for something that would've taken so long to make, I probably wouldn't take a commission as intricate as this one haha, I hope this helps!
