I come here multiple times and remember another thing every time. I also come because you arnt a review channel..i have enough artist grade watercolors to last me till i live to at least 500..every new paint introduced has made me feel that i need it to be a better watercolorist faster. I dont have much time left....but that said, there arnt alot of reviews of this paint..i watched one then bought...now to actually learn about them.

I think your painting has greatly improved!! And I love the the new colors. I'm working on my palette choices right now and as much as I love the Holbein colors that Andy suggests, I have noticed that a lot of studies in the mentoring class are really dull. I just got a set of Maimeriblu watercolor paints to try. Your video was very helpful. Especially the cars side by side comparing to the other brand paints. You painting at the end is beautiful. I love how it turned out. I’m gonna film myself using the new paints just to see how it looks compared to my other set. I think that helps to see the difference and know which one I like better.

MB is a honey based paint so that probably explains its softness . I ordered about 9 tubes a few years ago and lived them. Not sure why I haven't re-ordered yet, but I put them in a separate palette. They are still soft and easily rewet. I put them back on my "to buy" list.

I have a 16 color Maimeriblu palette which I absolutely love. I do not know if you noticed, but almost all of the Maimeriblu paints have excellent lightfast rating, even their version of Alizarin crimson.

I like to think of Maimeri Blu like some sort of Sennelier but without honey: great for multiple washes and layering. They also have some interesting neutrals:: the ones I was interested the most were Indigo and Payne's Gray because each of them are made using a unique pigment unlike other brands.

A very happy and healthy new year to you Eric. I believe MB has honey in it, as does the M Graham paint I use, which really helps keep the paint moist, and I think it helps keep colour more vibrant. I love that MB Cerulean, but I’m crazy for blues!
