A full orchestra could probably play this full speed. I might be wrong, but I think flutists can play that fast. If the song had all the parts divided up appropriately it would be an amazing performance.
@TylerNOS38627711 жыл бұрын
***** I hear something along these lines... 0:18 -Flute, 1:27 -Clarinet, 2:20 -Tuba/Trombone/Alto Sax 2:41 Cello just for pause, 2:49 -Alto Sax/Clarinet, 3:34 Trumpet/French Horn/Clarinet/Violins/Cello, 4:16 if possible a Harp 4:48 Wood Winds all together, 5:17 back and forth between different instruments, but if you actually write Orchestra music then you probably hear Much better arrangements.
@quasarsoup529011 жыл бұрын
TylerNOS386277 You nailed it. They should do it with that arrangement. I support your choice of instruments for the different sections.
@jollyjollyO10 жыл бұрын
TylerNOS386277 Wow that would be fucking awesome. I'm definitely not at all skilled in orchestral apportioning, but that sounds brilliant.
@tond324410 жыл бұрын
TylerNOS386277 Love the instrument choices. I feel like at the part starting at 1:30 you could substitute a marimba for clarinet though. I know marimba players who can play this fast, so it's possible too. Also, I guess some of the fast flowing sections could be done with an entire first violin section, just so the whole song isn't a series of wind solos. Such a great idea though.
@TylerNOS3862779 жыл бұрын
Ellis K. If someone actually did my idea, I think the most interesting part would be 3:34 - 4:15 because of all the different parts at once. at 3:34 you have the pretty rythem done by the Trumpets/French Horns/Clarinets/Violins/Cellos, then while they continue, the Flutes come in with their lead riff from the beginning at 3:48, then as both the Rythem & lead parts continue, the Tubas/Trombones/Alto Saxophones come in at 4:03 with their second rythem thats more up beat.

First off, that is epic, as good as the original, but for different reasons. I don't mind the cheap drum sound or sped up parts, it means nothing to me, what does mean something to me is the hair standing up on the back of my Neck, the feeling i get in my chest and the fact i have listened to this 5 times today since hearing for the first time yesterday. I would also love to hear the slow version of this minus drum track as i think that would have a different feel just by virtue of the speed and no drums, i suspect it would make it more eerie, but less energetic. I dont get the people whinging on here about drums/speed up, this is he closest cover i have seen of Animals as leadears (although the dual piano Cafo is also good). For a start AAL, Tosin is Hendrix combined with Mozart, a true genius, i think the world will look back in 100years and proclaim him a great he is not just great technically , he is a next level composer too, and this cover shows that, as well as a great vision from the Cellist, i have these ideas all the time, but i am a guitarist (20years) so i have to leave it to peeps like yourself to make the versions i wish i could, and this is one of them, its an almost perfect conversion from one medium to another. Truly epic mate and i thank Tosin for writting such great music (the original is just breathtaking anyway) and the performing Cellist, as im a very hard man to please, and im hyper critical when watching Music, but especially covers. Covering one of my fave songs and me liking it is a rare rare thing, well done you bowled me over. I want to hear an Orchestra covering , AAL, Scale The summit, and others such as Tool, Opeth etc thats the next one yet to be done, so if anyone out there likes this and that stuff? you have your assignments lol (On impulse -AAL, Jimmy -Tool, if i here an orchestra cover these tunes well, i can die happy)...and in regards the detractors? shut up, dont watch the vid, just put some head phones on, roll a ciggie/ joint/pour a glass of beer/wine and listen, forget technicalities , just listen, if you still have an issue then? remove your ears they are wasted on you. in short.... I Loved it
