@@DesignBuildLift mine too. I realized years after my knee surgery, i needed to work out to prefect my legs from getting weaker and weaker. The way he talked and explain things made me want to getting into building my body.

Bro! It's like you have answers for problems I did not even know ow I had because I did not even think some of these things possible in a home gym. Definition of value. Thanks, and keep it up.

Very innovative hack. I’m thinking there are many more ways to use this also. Thanks! Just subscribed!
@DesignBuildLift Жыл бұрын
Thank you for subscribing! There are definitely other uses (hack squat, standing calf raise, etc.) which I will showcase in a future video! 🤘🙏💪

@@DesignBuildLift yeah I’ve always done my standing calf raises leaning toward the rack with the bar and this will save my bar and rack wear and tear. Thanks

Now thinking how I can use this for a wall squat variation.

There are definitely more uses than just the Cage Press (hack squat, standing calf raises, etc) - I will feature more in an upcoming video! 🤘🙏💪

I’m going to do this to my beater bar. Do you think it would also work for doing hack squats by leaning back against the rack with your feet in front of you?
@DesignBuildLift Жыл бұрын
Craig! Great question. I tried that, but I didn’t like it because I don’t have spotter arms. However, if you have spotter arms it should work great - set the spotter arms low and then begin and end the set at the bottom the rep. 🤘🙏💪

could this be used to make a smith machine hack?
@DesignBuildLift Жыл бұрын
It definitely has more applications than just the Cage Press - in full transparency I was running short on time so I only included the one exercise in this video. In a future video, I may include more exercises.

Hmmm an "old beater bar" you say 🤔. Oh! You mean my regular bars!!! 😅

Then you can make several of these! 😆

I tried with fat grips and some lube onec kinda worked
@DesignBuildLift Жыл бұрын
Yes - unfortunately the rubber on the fat gripz provides too much friction. If you give my hack a try please let me know how it works for you!
@DanCB7 Жыл бұрын
Or just put pvc pipe on your safety pins?
@DesignBuildLift Жыл бұрын
This hack reduces friction as you drag the barbell against your uprights.
