Thank you! Also -for faster setup - just keep straps on the pipe all the time…hang pipes on a wall hook with those straps. Then grab them when you need them. In other words…if already assembled - it will only take 10 seconds to set it up. 🤘💪🙏

Ooh, love the cable crossover hack! I was planning on making the wooden version from your other tutorial, but this would save me a lot of time. I am short, so I may just rest the barbell on safety pins or J-hooks.
@DesignBuildLift2 жыл бұрын
Yes…for shorter people just doing that may be sufficient. Thank you for supporting the channel! I appreciate it!🤘🙏💪

Hi, thanks to all the ideas you gave me. I'm just sitting in school and going to buy those straps as soon as I get out of here. I've seen you using Fat Gripz but I don't know if they will be useful for me and I don't want to pay 30€ just to find out I wouldn't use them. Any ideas how I can make my own to see if they're worth it? Greetings from Germany!
@DesignBuildLift Жыл бұрын
Hallo! Danke sehr! It depends on what you will use them for. If using to attach to soft loop tiedown straps use 1.5” Schedule 40 PVC (or whatever the equivalent of the is in Deutschland) to make a fat handle ! If adding to a barbell…that’s a bit trickier. Perhaps just wrapping a set of wrist wraps would achieve the desired effect (but obviously not as well as the real thing). 🤘🙏💪

Crazy how people think alike, I've actually done two of these hacks using straps with slight variations on the neutral tricep bar.. Though, most of the them I haven't seen before. Definitely going to make the cable crossover, great vid!!!

I like the Belt Squat hack. Question: I have the square safeties not the pin pipe so is that okay? The straps are they the 18” ones ?

Can you think of a diy to do “scrape the rack press” exercises without actually damaging the rack
@DesignBuildLift2 жыл бұрын
I will give this more thought. That being said, I usually put wrist wraps on the barbell. They offer a pretty smooth movement, and protect the rack pretty well.
