Me and my daughter went to see them in September in Nashville. It was her first concert and we were front row in the pit and the show was spectacular. Matt is such a vibe! Cage the elephant was my husbands favorite band and sadly he passed away a few months ago so this concert was for him and for my daughters 15th birthday. It was the first time I’ve seen her happy since her dad passed. Thanks cage the elephant!! You will for ever be special to us.

I'm sorry for your loss. I'm happy for you that you have music to remember him by and share with your daughter. I lost my dad many years ago now and I hear old songs and I think of him playing them on the piano. Last week I heard the song "We'll meet again don't know where don't know when" and I just about cried because he played that and when my sister sang it years ago I know she was thinking about dad. After melophobia, i was concerned for the future sound of them. As much as i love that album, it was very divisive and diverse, and it kinda rolled over into the next couple albums, then 2019 hit with "ready to let go" and that soung blew me away and really put them back up on the charts, then black Madonna and neon light.
