"We don't do it for the glory, we don't do it for the money, we don't do it for the fame, so all the critics who despise us, go ahead and criticize us, it's your tyranny that drives us, adds the fire to the flame." Such amazing lyrics.

For different locations, Europe and America tend to always get different videos from bands. And sometimes there is a temporary video that a band make over a day in the middle of a tour just so they can release a song then will make a proper video when they get a few days off.

Stop commenting about taylor swift you bunch of hipsters! This band is fairly mainstream, go into your town's underground scene and learn a thing or two about god damned music!
@LysandrosBafaloukos9 жыл бұрын
1. Taylor Swifts deserves all the negative comments that we can give her 2. This band IS NOT MAINSTREAM at all 3. Go listen to some quality music kiddo
@brubarurno9 жыл бұрын
Lysandros Bafaloukos Well, you're braindead. Explain each of your points carefully, so we can talk 'quality' music, "Kiddo". This band IS mainstream. All their god damned albums have made it into top charts in the US, and most of their singles(almost all of them, excepting for free love - 2007), one of them is even Platinum Certified in Europe. I'm not gonna' bash on the band because I am particulary attracted to their music, more of the early stuff sounds more right to me than the newer, reminds me of the pixies, but that's not the point. If you wanna' be a hipster I seriously suggest getting into some real underground music. Just because it's alt rock it doesn't make it non mainstream. Cage really is. Dead Sara, Kyuss, Fugazi, Naked Raygun, Alcest, Eruca Sativa, The Evens, Mr Bungle, Tomahawk... those are some non mainstream bands from all over the world which are just as good if not better. Swift deserves the negative comments? Yeah, I bet she has made your life miserable by making catchy songs, her songs have the style she wants them to have. If you hear more of her early projects you may even learn a thing or two about her setting and origins into the mainstream as a country singer-songwriter. I don't like her music, I find it unappealing, but being all edgy and misunderstood doesn't give you advantage over any other listener of any other genre. In fact, nobody is actually forcing you to like Taylor Swift, but yet you insist in dragging her here, into your "musical sanctuary". At least have the guts to write it on her video, facebook wall, twitter or something and deal with the backleash. Nobody wants a self satisfied prick who wants support to feel a part of the herd to cloak his latent insecurity.
@LysandrosBafaloukos9 жыл бұрын
Bryce Flint What makes you think that I don't have the "guts" to writhe at Taylor Swift's twitter or Facebook profile "You are a stupid and untalented bitch"?Secondly, this band IS NOT mainstream in Europe and I'm damn sure about that.I don't want to present myself as a hipster, I just believe that awesome bands like this one don't get the credits they deserve, whereas "artists" like our dear Taylor get their "worth" inflated by the so called "music" industry. Come on who listens to Taylor or Rihanna or Beyonce for any other reason apart from they are promotioned as hell from media?
@brubarurno9 жыл бұрын
Lysandros Bafaloukos People who just feel more attracted to their more (stupidly) balanced and openly manufactured sound. I just gave you reasons why it's mainstream, you refuse to understand, your problem. Say you're not a hipster all you want, you're proving me right. Maybe you simply don't talk to people and are as far from the alt rock listening comunity as you could be, just to have the right to feel special and different while you bash on other people's likes. But that's like, your problem man. I'd suggest learning what non mainstream music is. Just because it isn't topping the billboard top 200 it doesn't make it a rarity. You're obnoxious and illogical.
@discoverednotcreated9 жыл бұрын
Bryce Flint For people who have busy lives and friends with bad taste in music, it isn't that easy to navigate the underground scene. At least in my experience, if you are familiar with good unknown artists you either have friends who know, or you have no life. I don't think it's right that people must choose between good music and a life, and I think that's what frustrates people like Lysandros. The media promotes a lot of poppy garbage and then we need to rely on the "in" people like you who seem to lack an aesthetic compass. I thought The evens were pretty good, but excuse me, but I think fugazi, kyuss and naked raygun unlistenable and have zero range. Way too much heavy guitar, and all the songs sound the same. Just my opinion. What exactly is a "good" band for you? For me it has to at least be listenable, have a discernible tune (under all the heavy guitar) and not give me a migraine. Is this too pedestrian for you? How exactly could these three bands be better than CTE? I think it's promotion of garbage just because it's "underground" makes it difficult to find good underground music.
