Madam, Pls confirm one thing, For calculation of EPS, is minimum 10 year continue service is mandatory ? or gapping services but minimum 10 year completed with contribution is made in EPS will eligible for pension?

Main difference between ups and ops is that in ups pension will be calculated as 50 % of BASIC SALARY of average last 12 months while in ops it was 50 percent of LAST SALARY DRAWN. It makes huge difference. In ops there was GPF. In ups there is no provision for GPF. I have one question that where will be the contribution in ups by employee(10%) and govt (18.5%) utilised? I mean will it go in market linked shares or MF as in nps or govt is going to spend it somewhere else.

The NPS has taken away the pension right of a healthy working employee for his retirement and a part of the labor has been exploited. In this UPS a part of the labor is exploited and part of it is to be delivered every month. And that too only for those who have worked for more than 10 years.

Mam you missed many points 1. In UPS pension will be started after superannuation but in NPS starts after quitting, beneficiary for VRS employee 2. In NPS employee can get his 60% corpus at the time of quitting and remaining 40% to his nominee/s but in UPS it is 0.

No. Minimum 10 year service for pension for superannuation retirement only. Will get pension next month after retirement month. Minimum 25 year services for voluntary retirement. But will get pension after 60 years. Have to wait for get pension.

No one talks about the lumpsum amount in NPS. Which is way higher than UPS assuming market growth though. If you put that money in bank that will give intrest which can compensate the UPS assured 50%. If you die early then your kids can easily use it than waiting for your spouse to get 60% of it

It will be added in UPS, in another way, it's gone. 10% of employee contribution is there in both UPS and NPS so doesn't matter which scheme you opt, your 10% is gone

यदि पति पत्नी दोनों शासकीय सेवा में हैं। दोनों को वेतन मिलना सही है। पति पत्नी दोनों रिटायर हैं तो दोनों को पेंशन मिलना भी सही है। किन्तु पति की मृत्यु होने के पश्चात् पत्नी को पति की फैमिली पेंशन मिलना गलत है क्योंकि पत्नी पहले से स्वयं की पेंशन पा रही है जिससे उसके परिवार का पालन पोषण हो रहा है। अभी तक इस तरह से बहुत राशि सरकार गलत व्यक्तियों पर खर्च कर रही है यही राशि जरूरतमंदों को दे सकती है।

Commutation pension ke wareme kuchh nhi dia hai! Ups me Humara hi contribution humko milega. Gratuity milraha hai ya fir bhik me chawal? Ops hi chahie. Ya fir ups me koi apna full contribution lena chahie to lene ka option hona chahie. Govt contribution se pension aramse mil sakta hai chahe kum hi kyon na ho!

पत्नी यदि शासकीय सेवा में है या सेवानिवृत्त हो चुकी है वेतन अथवा पेंशन पा रही है तो उसे पति की मृत्यु के पश्चात् फैमिली पेंशन नहीं मिलनी चाहिए क्योंकि वह अपने परिवार का पालन पोषण अपने वेतन अथवा अपनी पेंशन से कर रही है।

Mam ....i think your calculation on lumpsum amount for 15 years is wrong .... I think it shoulb be calculated for 6 months (6 months salary has to be taken not one month salary fot getting lumpsum figure)i.e 15x12x7000= Rs 12,60,000 \-

अच्छा बेफकुफ बनाया। Retiremet पर contribution से जो amount बनेगी, उसे तो employee को देने की बात की ही नही है। उस पैसे को तो सरकार अपने पास ही रख लेगी। बस बेसिक का 50%+DA देना शुरू कर देगी। OPS में एक बड़ा amount employee को दिया जाता था ओर साथ मे 50%बेसिक+DA देते थे।

Exactly 60 thousand ki 50% 30 thousand hoga+50% Da toh 30+15= 45 thousand salary..but uske liye aapko minimum 25 saal job karko tabh hogi 60 thousand basic pay...but abh boh inflation rate per depend karta hai..kya pta 25 saal baad aapki salary 80-90 thousand ho..
