Here is my 14-mile trip on the Cahaba River in Bibb County, Alabama, with a group led by Brad Moore of the Mountains & Moore KZbin channel. We got to see the Cahaba Lilies blooming plus AMAZING scenery along the way. The Cahaba is Alabama's longest substantially free-flowing river (194 miles). We launched at the Cahaba River National Wildlife Refuge and took out at AL Hwy 25 in Centerville/Brent. Music by Epidemic Sound.

Thanks, LM. The shoals were a little work, but it was definitely worth it. And you're right that Alabama has so many beautiful places! I've seen a few on your and Jon's channels, too!!

Man you had an awesome day. That was a big group you was with. The beginning seem a little rough but as long as you careful it will be alright. I saw you got wet but it look like you didn't lose anything. Glad to hear you had a blast kayaking with your friends. Me and my son won't be kayaking. About a week or two. The sunburn that me and my son got on our feet Sunday the blisters done and was bleeding and was very painful so we had to go to the hospital. I usually do not burn this early. It's usually after June This happens to me so this is early. Me and my son have to spend this holiday weekend barefooted 👣 because of the blisters , infection , the pain we are in. We also have to put cream on our arms from the sunburn too. It sucks to a point but it doesn't cuz it's going to rain on Friday , Saturday , and half of Sunday so. You and your family have a good Memorial weekend & whatever you do be safe man.

Hi Jake- We launched at the Cahaba River National Wildlife Refuge (there's a launch site where the gravel road first approaches the river) and took out at AL Hwy 25 in Centerville/Brent (there's a access point there near the bridge).

Awesome job, Dan! I can't believe that this video has been out for FOUR days and I am just now getting to see it because I haven't even been on KZbin! Thanks for the shout outs and thanks for going along! Those shoals were rough and slippery, but it was just such a great day on the water that even all of those bruises from the falls on those rocks are beginning to fade from my legs, as well as my memory! LOL!
