I’m a Chelsea fan and the way I see it is: we’re third we’ve only got Villa and Spurs to play now til the 19 game mark, we have a good record against Spurs and the Villa game is at Stamford Bridge the fixture after Villa play Juve in the UCL so good chance they’ll be burntout. We’ve only lost to Lpool and City this season plus our fixtures get considerably easier for abit now. I think this will be a very good opportunity to maintain the UCL spots. I can see us finishing 4th this year.

The Blues are a very good team with a lot of talent. It is not difficult imagining them challenging for the title in a couple years if they can make a modest amount of progress this season and next. Top 4 is not going to be easy but it is not implausible. Making the top 6 this year looks like it will be brutal, with 8-9 teams having reason to believe they have a shot.

Chelsea wanted the win don't get it twisted haven't beaten Arsenal in 8 games at home basically since Arteta took over beat us 4-2 when we were European champions when Nketiah and Smith Rowe tore us apart... I personally wanted Maresca because of his stint at Parma and knowing that a man who has been stung badly and humiliated really went to City then after what Leicester did in the Championship. I think his experience with Lippi,Capello,Pellegrini and Pep that he has a chip on his shoulder and that's what you want in a player and for me a manager he is in his late 40s so for him he wasn't going to be stubborn in his tactics and has tailored his tactics every game which I was expecting and happy with him.

Always love the way you analyze football matches. However, I think despite the injury crisis Arsenal as had this early season, I think Arteta has managed situation pretty well. Arsenal has played almost all the big 6 teams all in Away matches. Playing the big teams away and getting a minimum of a draw I think is a fairly good result (coupled with the injury problems). I feel as we progress through the seasons every team would become stronger and that's especially at their homes; and Arsenal would possibly benefit from that. Fingers crossed 🤞; we hope to have a fun-filled season; and we hope the PGMOL doesn't ruin it before we get half way through the season❤❤

Alice, you are absolutely right Arsenal did more or at least they tried to get all 3 points. In turn go my team I think Maresca doesn’t like to take risk and play more offensively against top teams. I believe this is a poor strategy because these young players must go up to the edge up to their limits. Before this game Chelsea head couch knew the draw would guarantee 3D plaice in the table at least for next 2 weeks then upcoming fractures for Chelsea look more “easy” to win if not all games, but many of them. I don’t believe that this is a good season strategy cause our boys need learn how to fight in order to win
