Gary’s questions are so insightful. He is not the best pundit (ok, “mid table”) but his podcasting / interviewing is top of the league.
@Danieleinad324 күн бұрын
He gives off the impression that he is saying questions other people have wrote for him and not at all listening to the response. When Ian and roy ask questions they sit and listen and build upon the responses of the guest

Look at Celtic the other night…talk about hunting the ball down in a high press!! Worked for them to get that goal for sure.

16:30 - Talking about recruiting players, Moyes says if you realise you've made a poor signing, you gotta accept your mistake and try to move him on as soon as possible. Too bad no one ever told Erik Ten Hag that. He signed the £85m flop Antony and kept playing him for months at the expense of Amad when it had become obvious that Antony was a failed purchase.

Becoming harder and harder to watch for non Man United fans. Moyes spent 11 years at Everton (more than United and West Ham combined) and barely a peep about it.

Manchester United is the biggest club in England commercially. You just have to live with that fact
@thomasfarrelly77825 күн бұрын
@ I’ve never said they wasn’t. I’m merely stating the fact that he managed Everton for 11 years. I thought they’d of had some more questions about his time there. Why I wasted an hour or so watching it.

Really, am surprised at how honest & sincere he is now. But come to think of it, why was he not clear in his thoughts then? Really, Age & Experience can't be bought in any field. I wish David Moyes aka the Anointed One(then) the best in his future coaching.

YOU DID CHANGE THE PHILOSOPHY! You moved the backroom staff on, you signed Felliani and Mata (both did not have the right profile). Crazy decisions, that cost you massively.

Hmmm, not the best episode. Didn't feel as formal as the Hoddle or Benitez episodes. Didn't get to speak about his years at Everton, nor much of anything after United (outside of West Ham). Good to hear a bit about playing styles and David's time at West Ham. Props to Roy for looking after David when he arrived to the seats 👏 The conversations certainly drifted around much this time, but we got hear about Man Utds prospects this season ... (yet again)
