Also, game Ellie is butchy and this girl doesn’t have a lick of that in her nor would she be able to act like it. No one looks exactly like game Ellie because the devs didn’t use anyones likeness for her model. I don’t mean to be rude but it’s frustrating when people pick some “it” girl of the month and try to argue that this girl looks like Ellie which inadvertently puts down Bella. Especially, when it is a short, petite, feminine woman that really does not look like Ellie at all.

I guess you could argue that they were chosen for being young and possessing the desirable genetics for procreation but it doesn’t change the fact that the movie claims to be in the spirit of the original but isn’t being cast as realistically.
