Not my favorite film but it was refreshing seeing the other side of their relationship. Elvis was a real man with real problems. Priscilla being brave enough to share these haunting moments with us is a big deal, I applaud her

She actually looks way more like her than he looks like Elvis. But they could've done a way better job on hair and make up for her. They held back to make her more girl like and could've been way mire accurate.

Honestly the AGE DIFFERENCE was the most jarring and upsetting part of the movie from the beginning, I actually thought they had cast an actual child to play her because she actually did look like a little girl. It actually was nauseating watching him target and groom her. And you see him very obviously preying on that, getting her alone without making it obvious to other people (5 seconds after calling her “just a baby”), making her wait for him and “stay the same”, isolating her, not letting her be her own person or have her own interests. She couldn’t even get a job because he NEEDED her to be waiting by the phone. EXPLODING at her and then telling her how much he loves her. But being careful not to have sex with her until after she was 18! Making sure the press didn’t know he was shacking up with a CHILD! It’s SO obvious what he was doing. Disgusting. How was everyone okay with this?!

I always thought it odd how there wasn't as big a to do about the man - child relationship Elvis had, yet there was with Jerry Lee Lewis's. Jerry's did involve his cousin, so there's that, but at that time, in that culture, it wasn't unusual for either. In fact in the same area just a few years ago a much older Magga Sheriffe running for higher office was pursuing a young school girl with her parents permission. That's illegal in most state's today, which surprised many that it wasn't all states. That aside, there wasn't much made of it with the last Elvis movie, since the focus was drawn away from it & the Priscilla in that movie looked much older. Sofia really pushed the envelope from start to finish, & altho it was a reality, it was hard to shake from start to finish, all because she cast a very young looking girl to fit her focus. I don't believe it was a coincidence since Sofia played a Priscilla type role in the God Father part 3 with Andy Garcia. I'll say this, if a man had made this movie instead of Sofia, there would have been picket lines till it was banned. Outside of all this, these two actors did a great job.

The real Priscilla has that traditional feminine energy and she was pretty mature for her age. I wanted to see if this actress could pull it off. She did an awesome job in my opinion. I felt that feminine energy, she was sexy but reserved . To me it was a tail about a powerful man, trying to handle so much chaos around him and Priscilla was the only peace on earth.

This movie should have never been made especially since Priscilla wrote a book about their relationship in 1985. I just question her reasons and timing to put out this kind of movie knowing that it’s portraying Elvis as some type of villain/ bad guy! Lisa Marie was so hurt because it’s going to appeal to a younger generation that don’t know Elvis. Lisa told her daughters there’s going to be a movie coming out about your grandfather and it’s not true. Elvis has been gone almost 50 years the movie is a one sided story! Priscilla also made a cartoon type movie about Elvis being some type of comic hero but it’s just awful because Elvis never cussed or drank alcohol. At this point I’m convinced that Priscilla is a woman scorned just looking at Elvis as a money grab.

I’m a big Elvis fan and I’m not interested in watching it. I know that Elvis was a religious man and loved God , and his fans and people in general, and took care of a lot of people paid a lot of medical bills for people, he didn’t know and paid for the entertainer Jackie Wilson medical bills he was in the hospital for years and took care of his wife, paid all their bills. He was a generous man and didn’t want people to even know what he did. Some of the stories are just coming out now of how Elvis bought so many gifts, cars, houses, etc. and of course he was the best entertainer ever he was the king and sold over 1 billion records more than anyone🔥

Ridiculous comment. You lack brain cells. You’re speaking about their relationship as if you personally knew them. The reason victims of abuse hardly come forward is because of people like you. People that have no personal connection to the story but just write off the abuser as innocent because “they don’t seem like it.” Sick.

She had no identity of her own, no friends, her parents acted like they cared yet they were easily convinced to let her go. Literally nobody seemed to gaf, she was like a ghost. Then she became the biggest rockstar's little doll and it was the only thing she had going for her. She got a gorgeous complicated man who said he needed her and everyone wanted, a big house, a puppy, a wardrobe, a car etc. so she stayed even though she wasn't actually getting anything of substance, not even an orgasm! Plus all the tabloid shit and rules she had to follow. That's what I got from the movie. Only after she had Lisa Marie did she realize there's more to life than material things and what the eye can see. Glad she finally had it and got out of that dead end situation. And yes it was Elvis's fault for going after a little girl who didn't know herself well enough yet to even be in a relationship let alone that crazy ass life with him.
