And that was Cain's curse in the SCP universe. He would remain immortal, with no one able to harm him without harming themselves, he wouldn't touch the ground without killing everything he touched. He learned from his sins, and during his time in the Foundation and before it, he was atoning for his actions. He is wiser, older now. As for Able...well, that's a whole other cake entirely. Murdered and betrayed by his own blood, he felt nothing but hate. Hate for Cain, hate for God letting Cain kill him, and hate for Humanity in general. All that hate with wanting nothing but death or at the very least, to kill everything around him then himself, the torment wouldn't end. But in the world, one where the brothers meet again, where Able tries to kill Cain for what he had done, in the end it was Cain's love for his little brother, a love long lost but never forgotten, that made Able pause. That made him drop the sword he manifested for the purpose to try and kill his brother...but chose to let go of the hate, if only for the benefit of the doubt. In the end, the two brother hugs and cried, sung and left the mortal world towards Eden where they can find forgiveness un each other. They're free now.

Yeah but also remember, he can feel every wound that would have been inflicted, the damage might pass to the attacker but he still feels it as though it happened to him.

@ThisIsMyRealName in the bible, God cursed Cain with eternally life, with never ever being able to farm let alone covert land or shepherd sheep, to walk the earth forever, alone. That's the curse. In SCP this Cain has the same immortality curse, with whatever trying to harm and or kill him will die themselves by the way the choose to attack Cain, and at worse, he feels it. So yes, it is for a fact a curse.
@nubiedubie16514 жыл бұрын
ThisIsMyRealName immortality *and* withering of organics is v much a curse

This couldn't be a more realistic out come to a modern version of this story. Everyone thinks Cain would be the mad killer. But they often forget after what he did to his brother, his fate was changed. He lived a life of remorse and sorrow. Able, from his point of view, was killed for no reason. And by the person he trusted and loved the most. His life sadly would be an angry, vengeful one. And its poetic in a way that the brother slayed by the first weapon becomes the Ultimate killing machine. And the first murderer, remorseful of his sins, is actually cursed by the blessing God bestowed upon him. No harm can be done to him. Any attempt is turned back on the attacker

Cain has always been the person that messed up when it came to offering. That's why he got so jealous to Abel in the beginning anyways, because on one hand, Cain would grab the fruits that weren't even ready for eating. He was too lazy to God, and not being obedient with the offering. He wasn't giving it from the heart. On the other hand, Abel was a Shepard, which explains why Cain was talking about the sheep in the beginning of the tale. When it came to offering, Abel would bring the young, most healthiest, and most strongest sheep in the flock as a sacrifice to the Lord. Abel was giving it with heart. Thus, the rest became what most of us would know today; Cain got extremely jealous to Abel, tricked him into coming on a trip, then backstabbed Abel by killing him with a huge stone. When God seen all this, he punished Cain by not letting him ever go near or even touch humanity ever again, and not ever going to be remembered (in those times of course). He just killed a younger brother of his, one that grew up with him together, lived together, gave offering together...and now? A brother had betrayed him, out of jealousy, spite, and hatred. ... In the Scp Universe, Cain grew to learn his mistakes, after loss of his arms, and making the ground withered around him. He realized what he had done, killing the very sibling of his, the first kill ever caused by humanity. Abel, soon became alive again, with powers unknown, he grew to hate everything around him. He has an undying urge to challenge, kill, and in the end, hated humanity as a whole. And that's why this is so heartbreaking to see in the end. Cain, deep down, was only filled with hatred because he wanted to feel the same triumph as Abel. He never wanted to do something bad in the first place, but his hatred grew so deep in his heart he couldn't control it anymore at the time. Abel is like the exact opposite of what he was before. He was just a younger brother doing what he can in his heart to please God. And now Cain's hatred told him to be like the one we see in the series, to be a genocidal character with even more hatred towards his brother. And now, knowing they finally forgave each other, after so long, they can finally love each other the way brothers should be. Love heals all.

Its really sad to the fact that they're both immortal and that they were also the sons Adam and Eve and that Cain (073) killed Able (076) after being kicked out of the Garden of Eden. This would result in Able's overall hatred of him. But for Cain he deeply regrets killing him and that he seeks a road to redemption and he wants able to forgive him. But able was in a massive state of anguish and anger against him and that after so many attempts to kill him (despite the reflect damage), he had nothing else to do and nothing to hold back. Just seeing this alone is quite impressive to see that Able would actually forgive Cain for what he did. And the illustration of them holding each other like brothers always brings a tear to my eye.

The scp universe would benefit from having a comic book style setup with one company like dc or marvel in charge and it would potentially make the scp universe huge. Edit: It's been a year since ive posted this and i kinda forget about the SCP community. However i still belive that the SCP universe would benefit from some kind of mainstream publication. However the universe does not have to reside within one continuity, Due to the series nature it would benefit from multiple writters and influences. God: “Sorry foundation about all the troubles these brothers have caused my bad” O5: “Why did you create many of the SCP’s that can end millions of lives?” God: “OH WOULD YOU LOOK AT THE TIME BYYYYEEE” P.S - for the people who are not a member or patreon supporter, the reason this comment predates the video release FOR YOU is because members get early access to vids via link - just because I get a comment like that every time 😃

Maybe cultists? I vaguely remember Able being referred to as a champion or some sort and that Cain is somewhat tied with a dead god.
@Migolcow4 жыл бұрын
Seemed to me that Cain had gotten involved with Mekane at some point, hence his arms/legs being mechanical. Yaldaboth might be the obvious reason for Able's physical abilities and instinctive nature, along with all the crazy tattoos and suffering.

There are multiple universes on the SCP Wiki. The one this story belongs to, they both passed, but the SCP file isn't going to be replaced.

@bananawaltz88074 жыл бұрын
There is no set cannon in the SCP Foundation. There are multiple official cannons, and whatever you decide your head cannon to be.

You would rather he stay on the earth and suffer instead of ascending to Heaven?
@undeadprinceofchaos37314 жыл бұрын
Ausländer Actually now that you’ve mentioned it. Would Able be even allowed to go to Heaven? What with all the blood he’s spilled over the countless generations? But then again if God finally let Cain rest after being force to walk the earth for countless of centuries due to the curse he placed upon him, then I guess he would look past all the death Able caused and let him rest in Heaven
