I hope he brings up the absolute dog ass stealth system in the game. I love when i get spotted through walls by enemies or randomly get seen by people with eyes in the back of their heads while im standing still. I think my favorite was when i cleared an outpost of enemies and they all respawned while i went to take a piss while looting.

there are 3 variants of the poltergeist iirc, there was the acidic one, the electric one, and of course the fire one. the elemental poltergeists are easy to deal with while the original is a pain in the ass. the difference between the original and the elemental ones is that, the original straight up makes a wall for cover when first shot, which is so cancer to fight in the early stages when you only have a double shotty and an ak (i love it).

I like that running away is a viable option in stalker because unlike fallout, where you’d rather fight anything for the sweet sweet xp. In stalker any fight with a mutant will leave you worse off in every single way possible without any benefits. ammo? Spent, armor? Shredded. Health items? Used to glue together the red blob that you become after a mutant mauling. Trying to run away is the better choice in 80-90% of encounters with these things

Honestly depends for me if you're going about ai from the older and compared them stalker 2 mutants are terrible but they do look good visually in the old games dogs or fleshs would run if they lost alot of there pack also i think most mutants had injury animations blood suckers sucked blood from thebplayer or dead corpse's i played about 28 hours not alot i did enjoyed alot but the a life in stalker 2 is none existent game needs alot of work and i fear they lacked what the old dev team had

A tactic you missed with the rodents, if you do have the high ground and they run to hide behind low cover, a well placed grenade can take out a large group of them since they tend to flock in small swarms, little tip for my fellow STALKER's.
