I think Aaron does care, especially about cain, hes been like a dad too him, but i think he's lashing out because he's in a bad place and looking for a fight is similar to how he was before, when he struggled in the past. He never got to properly grieve for liv which is probably part of it too, because he was forced to come back to the place he was trying to get away from.

I like all the actors in Emmerdale, but as a Northerner, it's immediately obvious that some of the key actors (playing Yorkshire roles) are from the other side of the Hill. Which tells me the casting bods weren't up to speed on what dialect comes from where .... Wonder if anyone else has picked up on this?

It makes sense tho. The people who were keeping him "sane" (when he first entered the show he was similar to this due to his dad) either died (liv, Jackson other bf) or went away (Robert). And the very person who he wanted to grieve with about Liv (his Mom) tried to get rid of him to be with Al. Just like how she dumped him on his Peadophile dad. The only one what didn't deserve the hate was Paddy. While Cain settled over the years he wasn't the best role model.
