hey Zane, thanks for the comment 🤠👍 The instra 360 is hard-mounted to the screen for these shots and dosn't move. It films all-around (360) so it's just a matter of reframing what you want in scene and editing in post. You can use the phone as a remote and that works quite well as I have the phone on a QUADLOCK on the centre handlebar.

I did the same changed to DJI Osmo Action and have not looked back its the perfect Cam for the helmet. nice trip thanks for sharing.

@@brownies-midlifeadventure5333 i tried a few mics some are just hot and cause crackle and pick up every bit of wind noise, i settled for the RODE go and have the ARAI as well i have my mic up the front under the left cheek pad RODE Go. Sometimes i just use the Foam wind sock over the camera which works well.

Nice vid! Wish I got a 10% discount on Soundstripe 4 months ago.... it costs a bit, but their selection of music and SFX is pretty good. Do you find editing with the Insta 360 easy enough? Adds some pretty cool angles to your video.

Thanks mate... The 360 is a pain in the butt to edit but looks cool... I found a plug-in for Davinci Resolve 17 (Reframe360P) that seems a little easier than the Instra app... but still a time-consuming process... 😎🤘

Audio is great. Why are you sick of the GoPro? How is the Osmo better?

Thanks mate... the audio is okay at low speed or stopped, but goes to shit after about 60/70 kph, have tried everything to try and cut the wind noise. The Osmo Action just works... The GoPro's, I'll keep it short... Owned about six of them over the years, and they are all as buggy as hell, even with updates... My Hero7 likes to randomly turn itself on and start recording or decides not to want to turn off or stop recording (battery out for fix) along with a dozen other things it does or doesn't do at its own discretion.... the Hero7 is by far the worst... my 6 just likes to randomly turn on, like at 2am in the morning and keeps the screen on until flat... the 9 I just chucked it in the bin, we won't go there... I wish I had a dollar for every time I said "Fucking GoPro's $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ I could really go on but I won't 😶👍
