Another outstanding video Capt! you mentioned you were doing about 3.5 around that last flank..curious to know if that was clutch ahead or were you already slightly driving on it? Seemed like you really use the buoy line like a channel range marker to know when to make the turn-that and your radar rings, but I couldn't tell if you were already putting power on at that point. Amazing how fast the head comes around in swift water.

3.5 was at current speed. We flanked at 7.5 mph at Cottonwood, a very tight and swift spot this trip.

Yes, it was Queen of Mississippi, or as we call the cheap knockoff the "Floatel 6". Haha Yes, a friend brought the Delta Queen (real steamboat) down for her refurb. Glad you enjoy videos. I enjoy posting them.

Hi Kyle, Has the William E Strait been repaired after the collision with the Margaret Ann, or was she a total loss ? I read the NTSB report and it seems the pilot was having a rough trip.
