5th grader Ace Schroeder is going to be a problem! She's the #1 ranked player in the 2031 class. Ace played against boys in the T3TV March Madness Tournament. When we posted her on Instagram, everyone said she was the next Caitlin Clark. Big shoes to fill but either way she's going to carve out her own path.

The reason they're all cocky is because they're mimicking adults. If adults were good sports, who played with honor and integrity, then kids would too. Today, when someone is a good sport, everyone is impressed, when it should just be the norm, but now it's the exception.

I agree but also as a old head now as the kids would say. I say let them talk she has to have that ok. She doesn’t look like she comes from a tough background which means she’s actually at a disadvantage competition wise. You have to have that fire from some where. Because there are kids out there that will not be beat and it’s because of their upbringing. When Clark from Iowa fires back does her little hand wave thing thats good you have to have that or else you’re gonna be ran over. The game is different now. You have to show that you’re not to be taken lightly. And i mean in play not talkin back to coaches or doing draymond type things lol.

What’s crazy is that’s the example we give them everyday because we play like that that’s where we have fallen off track we should lead how we want them to follow but in our money driven society that’s what we do and that’s also why so many of these country’s have such a hatred for us because they feel we are not the example that we think we are

All of the taunting and bad attitude STARTS at home, but I also blame the coaches. If I saw my daughter acting like this and being disrespectful, her sports career would come to an abrupt end until her attitude changed. I also coach youth softball and basketball, and if any of my players acted like this, they would be on the bench instantly...no matter how good they are. If parents and coaches would teach respect and sportsmanship then things would change. I cringe when I see highlight videos like this because of all the disrespect and taunting.

@@Iwasintherightnot at all. I’m the same way as a coach. We do not tolerate bad sportsmanship AT ALL. You taunt, you come out. Too often they’d rather do their celebrations meanwhile the other team is pushing the ball down court getting layups. It’s all over AAU and high school basketball. Everyone wants to get seen, famous, and show off. You lose a lot of games playing that way. When it counts, that stuff loses games.

The girl in pink actually had the slightly better scoring game, with a mix of threes & twos. She went for about 21, 23 pts, while the one in black scored about 15 or 18, all threes. Hard to tell what either did elsewise since nobody seemed to miss a shot.

Yea, my girls did the same thing until somewhere in 7th grade where the boys began to tower over them, become much more explosive and dominate the once dominate girls. By 9th grade most the boys were dunking the ball or at least able to grab the rim. My girls were just 1/3 rd way up the net. It just changes. My girls went into national girls sports and won national titles. But against the boys, it was not close. This girl is great.
@Mars-qx7mq
@Mars-qx7mq 9 ай бұрын
This was standout play of the video for me. Although a turnover was included in this sequence, everything else was elite. @1:27, starts of with a quick Iverson like play, turnover, the positioning on the D caused the opp to give back the ball, the hustle to get the ball (impressive for this age group), and the great footwork to spin out of the Double team, and finally make shot after all that activity. This kid had light feet and quick twitch muscles.

This is why the Europeans are doing so well in the NBA the lack a respect and basic human decency are being removed from the US kids young. It's actually pathetic watching this.

These kids are good! These girls remind me of when my daughter played. Never thought about putting her on a boys team! She was always tall (6’ and in her 30s) and had great eye hand coordination. BB came easy to her, as did most sports. She never wanted to play in college. These girls are only going to get better!!

This is proof that basketball is gonna die off soon. These young kids already having attitudes, poor sportsmanship, talking trash at one another. Great job parents 👏🏻👏🏻 You’ve managed to raise entitled, spoiled kids that will surely turn out to be scourges on society.

I have watched this video twice and I still dont know what disrespect you cry babies are talking about ! Your from the old school controlled basketball.I played in 1969 when you were not allowed to talk to the refs,express emotion or say anything at all. As a sophmore,my first time in the game I made a hook shot from just inside the free throw line.My old school coach made me sit down and told me we dont allow that flashy stuff here and in the 8:16 next 10 games I never saw action again becausr of you old. School control freaks ! It ruined sports for me in high school and I switched to photography.Its a control game you coaches play !

i see a couple girls out there lighting it up, 20 in Black and 14 in Pink both of them showin out. i coached youth basketball (and softball)back in the 80's and had a couple of solid girls playing hoops for me. kids at this age are typically similar in size the boys might be a bit stronger, but its not as big a margin at the 5th grade level. no 3 point line back then and the girls i had were bigs, they held their own, one actually played college ball (something im proud of to this day as i was her first "real" coach) i see a lot of talent in these kids, not just the girls, the big kid in the pink looks like he could be special down the road too, his frame at 10-11 yrs old looks like he could be a big kid by the time he gets to high school 33 in black has an upside as well, not as smooth as some of the other kids but solid tools. just stumbled onto this, algorithm sowed me this, subscribing because this was as much fun as ive had watching in quite some time. (and i miss coaching)

am i the only one who thinks their attitudes were normal for basketball??? no one’s yelling at ppl mostly just yelling when excited or mad when something happens to them then they lock in and get back on defense which is pretty mature for 10 year olds i think some of y’all don’t understand sportsmanship,,, you don’t have to dull your emotions in order to be a good sportsman lebron will do the ice in my veins after a 3 or curry will run around putting them to sleep and they still show love after the game or even help up opponents you can be emotional and respectful because in sports respect isn’t shown by being quiet its by being understanding that the person who wins purely tried harder and played better

Impressed with their offensive fundamentals and passing. I attribute what everyone saying too cocky as confidence which is a major factor in sports. The only questionable thing I have is number 15 for the pink team seemed much older than the rest of the kids but I could be wrong
@tomdiets5079
@tomdiets5079 9 ай бұрын
No the cockyness is bad sportsmanship, when you make a regular lay up you don’t call the other team a punkass little bit*h, if she was my daughter she wouldn’t be playing 5he next game for that one. Sports used to teach kids humility and that’s evidently no longer true. Sad
