If both teams actually ball out, this will be one for the ages. However, the egos of the older women on the national team might be too fragile for the world to see the younger players ball out if they get to. I don't think DT would run the risk of the yungins showing them up. I'm more excited about Sundays Fever Mercury game. We'll see some real competition there. If I’m not mistaken, any player in the top ten in voting who’s not on the Olympic team will automatically make the all star team, which means that as it stands, Clark and Reese would both make the team. Also, shoutout to Reese for being a marketing genius because this all started when she did those hand gestures to Caitlin after the 2023 championship, lol. She made women’s basketball a national story for the first time, and made it an interesting story with drama and intrigue and mystery and made me want to know what was going to happen next, which got me interested in the players, which is the only reason I’m sitting here watching women’s basketball today.
