It was honestly frustrating to watch because theres such a big difference in talent that she was making passes that would be a great play in the NBA only to have the ball go right off the hands of her teammates. It was disappointing to see the lack of coaching too. CC would bring the ball up and they couldn’t even set a screen or help on double teams. I would’ve thought it would’ve been more fundamentally sound than the nba because they would have to focus on that instead of relying on their athleticism.

Had Caitlin made that shot after she dropped Rebecca Allen it would have been the highlight of the game and poster of the week. I mean good gracious. Even when it ain't going in it's stunning. Caitlin Clark shoots air ball but still breaks defender's ankles. I believe if Caitlin Clark took a page out of Reggie Miller's and Rip Hamilton's (Pistons) book, which is to run the Defender out of their shoes, she could get open for even more shots. Hamilton said that trying to fight through screens chasing Reggie around used to always get him into foul trouble. Eventually Rip started doing the same thing to him. I truly believe Caitlin has the stamina to do this From a youngster she's played many sports and she's like an Energizer bunny who virtually doesn't get tired. That skill could be a great addition to her already amazing game. Plus being only 22 helps! *_Go Fever!!!_*

@@ChicksDigScarsPodcast True. I've been a Detroit Pistons fan for decades and loved watching those two guys run each other into the ground LOL. Weeks ago I was saying Christie should run double screens for Caitlin much like coach Bill Laimbeer did with the Detroit Shock. If the Fever must play ISO ball then somehow they have to get Caitlin open on one side of the floor with the defender while the other players takes their defenders to the weak side and let her do her thing. Someone needs to do a video showing how often defenders are in a shooters landing space & the refs never seem to call this despite it being one of the most dangerous move & cause of so much injury. I have seen several players do this to CC when she is shooting 3s. I know there was at least one on CC in the game against Pheonix & one on Kelsey Mitchell also (in that last shot that got Fever the lead). That is so dangerous & is how players get seriously injured. KZbin channels that show game clip videos need to shine a light on this. The logo 3 for CC in the second half of this game where people say CC "flopped" was the glaring example of a defender being in the shooters landing space this game. And BTW, people love to talk about CC "flopping," but it is actually the smartest way for a player to fall to prevent injury. Studies have shown that bracing yourself in any way is much more likely to cause injuries than just letting yourself fall, so staying very limber when you fall like CC does & what people call "flopping" actually prevents injury. I know its an odd analogy, but this is why drunks tend to walk away from accidents unharmed, because they don't have the ability to react & brace, so they just flop around.

Still need to work on fundamentals. I agree with you, they need to run. …they need to drill and practice fundamentals…they need practice screening and pick and roll, passing back to Catlin for a catch and shoot 3's. It's a shame that they let go of a big ten player, skilled in defense (which was desperately needed,) skilled in fundamentals. Who was never given a chance to prove herself. @@sunburstsounds Gosh I hope Kelsey Mitchell can buy in -- and still also keep her creative shot developer side that's needed too ... a balance of those from her would be ideal. Maybe she'll be more optimistic after CC fed her those shots in the 2nd Half yesterday

Definitely a team player. Plus her migraine issues are severe. A gamer being able to play through the pain. Effect on her being only 2 of 10 on 3’s? Wonder how many other times she’s played with one. Several times at Iowa according to Bluder.

Your commentary is always right on. If brain dead Christy would watch your channel they might actually be a good team. It pretty obvious what to do. Watch the Iowa games. Let CC run and they score 100 points per game.

There are 40 minutes in a game. CC played more than 39 minutes. So tell me bubba gump, how many SECONDS did CC get pulled?? Now if you play 39 minutes, more than anyone else on the team, don't go blaming the coach for CC not getting a triple double (as if that even matters), blame CC for not getting it.

Ha! I wish I knew. I think she'll be back if they make the playoffs (and maybe if they don't) but I'm also not sure if she'll want to come back, the way she talks about the outside noise all the time. She might not want the extra attention she gets with Caitlin Clark on the team.
