You are so right. We’re watching the fast pace and razzle dazzle passes, 3 point shots especially in clutch plays. The slow play is boring and will not draw the big turnouts and ratings.

I think WNBA is going to have problems selling ads to non Indiana games next year. Ad companies may want a two tier price for CC games and non CC games. Who wants to pay a premium for half of the league.

Thought it was mighty odd to have two Broadcast TV(OTA) games on Sunday and neither one being Indiana. Then put Indiana on ESPN a paid cable service. Guess you cannot put CC on every broadcast TV game. If CC was on Broadcast TV it would have been 2.5M minimal.

CC hate absolutely will not stop next year. Paige Bueckers will be the princess coming into the league. She is UCONN, they do not mess with UCONN players. It is going to be a year of Bueckers is so much better than CC was. There has been a decent amount of players who retired young from the WNBA, because the treatment never stops. CC might have to eventually go overseas or just start a family. She has F U money now.

Rest of the WNBA picking up with viewers." 😏 Maybe so, BUT frankly, it is still a direct result of the unique, impressive CAITLIN CLARK EFFECT that has spread and influenced the viewership of the E.N.T.I.R.E. WNBA. Fans are flocking to hear, see, think CC… as if they were chasing The Beatles of the early / mid 60s (yes, some of us remember that Beatlemania well). What a stir and impact CC has been generating among fans in general -- kiddies, youngsters, and their parents. From teams all around the WNBA. 😲 Princess Caitlin … becoming Queen Caitlin. God bless her through this journey to remain focused and even keeled. She has terrific parents and siblings, obviously. Still, she need excellent professional counselors as she continues to develop her skills and status under a stressful line of successes. Hopefully to include the 2024 ROY. 👍

The players need to showcase their talent when Caitlin is playing against them and they will get more fans. They just need to prove they are at that level. Start dunking, get more threes than Caitlin and you will attract more attention rather than talking her down prove it with action and not just by winning the games against her because the fans a loyal if fever win or lose. The top players like Aja Wilson, Ionescu, Plumm and copper have shown that and gotten respect because they were outstanding on the court when they played Clark.

There are still people that have heard of Clark but not watched her. The Olympics would have helped that. There will be some (in my opinion) that will discover Clark and youth that will find hopefully a role model. Marketed correctly the growth pattern has just started.

If Caitlin Clark wasn't VERY good I would not be watching the W(WE)NBA. The NBA tried to give us Jimmer Fredette several years back but he wasn't good in the NBA. They tried to give us "Baby Jordan", Harold Miner, years ago but that didn't pan out. Caitlin Clark is the real deal and is even making the league better because the rest of the league is even adding some "hot sauce" by upping their game. They see how much people are now paying attention to the W(WE)NBA so they're really trying to shine even more. I'm glad that Reese is playing well and that her team is doing well so that we can have a TRUE Magic/Bird rivalry. I thought Magic should've won Rookie of the Year back then. Caitlin should be the runaway Rookie of the Year in 2024.
