I grew up in the Chicago area and cheer for all my Chicago sports team. However, when the WNBA was formed, I lived in Los Angeles. There was not a a Chicago WNBA team. I became a Sparks fan. I cheered for Chicago when CP3 played for them but the organization is poorly ran. The owners are cheap and many former players accused them of not caring for the players. I want to be a Sky fan but just can't. Angel Reese got me excited about the team BUT Carter has dampened that excitement. I don't know the young lady but her actions make me believe she needs healing, help, therapy etc.

We create narratives that feed biases, fears and desires for attention. 1- The constant usage of suggestive language and innuendos SEEMS innocent and insightful; BUT is actually cowardice and disgustingly divisive. 2-ALMOST EVERY PLAYER gets away with certain fouls or has “non calls” (DT is one of the dirtiest foulers in the league, AT fouls HARD, Reese holds players and pulls hair and more and Clark and Sabrina BOTH flop, push off constantly, harass/disrespect refs, throw temper tantrums and then play the victim). Meanwhile others like (Aja Wilson, D Hamby, Tiph Hayes and more) are constantly getting fouled and don’t get the calls. 3- I think MANY (not all or most) commentators on W basketball, don’t even know the sport or the history. They seem entitled, hatefully biased and project their insecurities about life onto the sports and the players. JUST LET THE WOMEN PLAY! Sheesh!

I hate to admit it, but I was watching this game. Being a Fever fan it was important that the Sky get a loss. Carter should have been tossed with the foul on Mabrey. But this was as much a flop as anything. Carrington is a flopper, and she tried to get Carter another flagrant foul. It wasn't and the ref's, one of the few times they were correct. But Carter was eating Carrington alive. She was going by her every time she was attempting to guard her. They are both two of the dirtiest players in the league. Watching them against each other was entertaining. Carrington is just like Reese, all about themselves and not the team.
