The Aces vs the Mercury this season had over 10,000 present in the first matchup, over 11000 in the second and over 13000 in the third. C. The first match between the Aces and the Fever this year drew 10399. D. 90 dollar tickets are nice but neither the Aces nor the Mercury actually need Caitlin because their average attendance this year is almost 10000 a game

@@TheMeefivefacts! But, at the end of the day, it’s all about the money. Which one do you think the Welfare NBA like more, 20K attendance at $12-$20 nosebleed seats OR $90+ nosebleed seats at 20K attendance? I hate this Welfare League, I am not a fan, but no one can deny, that this young lady is boosting the ticket sales from bargain price to premium price. If 10K show up at the game at $12 a seat versus 5K attendance at $90+…its basic math, that’s all it is. She’s NOT the best, fact, BUT she sells tickets at higher prices…FACT! I’m not even her fan. I don’t like this league, it’s a joke.

The Aces drew 20,366 fans at home vs. the Fever 7/2/24. Their next best draw was 17,406 on 9/10/23 vs. Mercury. Next is 12,927 on 9/13/23 in a playoff game. After that, the next best draw was 10,424 last month vs. Liberty. So while they may have come close to filling a smaller stadium before, they have come nowhere near the 7/2/24 crowd. They have an amazing team…but let’s be honest: Clark has doubled attendance in this league when the Fever plays popular teams. When they play lesser teams…she’s still filling stadiums. Just embrace it!
@TheMeefive
@TheMeefive 3 ай бұрын
That's not as big a deal as you think. Each team plays the Fever 4 times so for 36 games the smaller teams still play to middling crowds. Overall they're still losing money. Caitlin is great for the Fever financially but for everyone else her presence in the league is insignificant.
@7671889
@7671889 3 ай бұрын
That's almost a $2 million dollar gate versus a $350k gate for one game, not counting TV and gamepass. Revenue from two home games against the fever make payroll for the whole season. The same 6x effect that you see in the All-Star voting should carry over to league revenue if they have people slightly more rational and objective than Becky Hammond in the front office.
@hottrakz

That sounds good in everything but the truth is the NBA has been growing for some time now they started out with 4000 and now they're up over 10 and that was without Caitlin so she is definitely a major contributor however when you hear things like the WNBA will be nothing without her or will go back to shambles that could not be further from the truth. Caitlin has definitely been a major contributor WNBA does not depend on her to and would be fine if she were not here. At this point versation of attendance is getting old now it should be about what's happening between those lines and the court.

Can’t stand Hammond! You are nothing as far as attendance without Clark! Plus no tv time! I hope the All Star team kicks the ass of the USA Olympians! Still never going to watch Olympic basketball without Clark in it. Back to only watching gymnastics! Dumb market move!

They should give CC credit for this but I get it coaches can’t show favor to another team player …could affect her team and players … but don’t get it TWISTED like LeBron said … THEY KNOW..

Even the "Has Beens" find it difficult to give CC her flowers... Really sad for the league Still...Can you say HATERS in full bloom? It's Pathetic

I know MVP is about a player’s skills. BUT when it comes to Value there is no one more $VALUABLE$ to the WNBA than CAITLYN CLARK!

Biggest crowd in 25 years? That's a Silver Anniversary for 20,000+ fans at a WNBA game! Las Vegas bookies already giving odds when this 25-year record gets broke.

That coach has no shame. Players who don’t acknowledge it’s CC they have no shame and probably don’t have any deals. AW had to cry foul to get one

Hey CC, just ask Reese, (every-time she goes on about her two wins in college), how far ahead you , (CC), are in sponsorship, I am sure that you win a few rings CC, but Reese will never get close to you in sponsorship!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is jealous and petty, and will never get the deals you already have CC.

WMBA should protect thier star players specially Caitlin Clark against the "unintentional" fouls before they lose good investments... if that's how capitalism works. They're relevant now because people love to watch Caitlin play.

Who is coaching the ALL STAR TEAM? If they want the ALL STARS to look like crap they could have Christie Sides be the coach.

Best facilitator in the League right now (Chelsea Gray still playing into shape but I don't think she'll get there in 3 weeks to Olympics). Can greatly extend defences with 3 point range-yeah good thing CC was left off the Olympic Team since there's no way she could help them win. Never mind that the rest of the world wants to see her play, you could grow the game (like your mission statement says) with more eyes on the team, & lastly CC could learn from the vets & International play like Stewie did.🤨 Yeah, lets make sure NONE of that happens.🤔 I for one will not be watching so US Basketball, you got your wish...

CC Games always sells out especially if she’s playing good or decent Teams but they’re 0-3 against Liberty 🗽 which is the number 1 Team in WNBA so it’s possible Fevers might get blown out especially if they can’t play good Defense against them

Hey Jon, don’t be so dramatic, the fever played back to back games ending with the game against the two-time champions even in the NBA back to back are rough people do get tired, but I guess drama makes your videos more interesting maybe to some people

SMH delusional. Just say you’re happy with the extra eyes and money you get and move on. This denial is getting ridiculous and further continues the narrative the league is full of haters.

"I don't want to take away from any of that and just be the focal point of the all star weekend because it won't be fair to them" I just can't understand how Caitlin say it so easily , giving praise to everybody else while all the others even her Coach seems like they would choke to death just mentioning her name in a good light.Like directly giving her credit. Right? i remember a college Coach said when she was asked what she whispered to Caitlin she said "I told her I'm glad she's leaving (and going to the W)" .

Sorry, I must disagree, not a POWERFUL response, just a politically correct response from a jealous shortsighted coach, she got an amazing team in the entertainment CITY, but CC is the X factor, and she cannot see that

Becky was on about making money Caitlin has done that for the WNBA plus added to new viewers gave young people a great role model and yes there are other good role models so for the rest of the coaches snubbing her look at extra money she has brought and the excitement after saying that she is a great player.
