Caitlin Clark There’s never been a Caitlin Clark. She’s Iowa’s finest work of art. Unselfishly she plays her heart. She paints good pictures of our parts. If we could share, on the court of life- Give real assists to those alive- And score some points that count for good, This world would change, perhaps it should. The way that Caitlin plays inspires. She obviously is filled with fire. But she maintains the calm approach. She’s not disturbed when she’s encroached. She tries to help her teammates score. She’s a leader whom they adore. Her fame is built on true finesse. A humble spirit describes her best. She’s deceptive with the ball. Unlikely will they steal at all. She tries to help to make her team Feel supreme in all their dreams. Success she’s found upon the court. And her example has import. If we could all just share the ball This world would change, we’d hear God’s call. Caitlin if you read this rhyme Know I love your play design. You inspire us with your play. You show how to win in every way.

If you watch a full Fever game, and not just the highlights showing buckets, you will see that Clarke does not make every shot or every pass isn't perfect. But she has INTENTION, her game play is EXCITING, she is ELECTRIC to watch. And now they are starting to work more cohesively as a team, who knows where they could go. It is not just jumping on the bandwagon to say CC should be rookie of the year, she just IS.

Mick, you're not dealing with the big problem that still remains, which is that Mitchell is still a block to the best performance of which Fever is capable. She's a good player, without a doubt, but she cannot get rid of her enduring belief that when the ball is in her hands, the best possible person to score points is herself. She needs to be told to practise a bit more selflessness, and it will make her a much better player. Her points total probably won't take even a small hit, and the team will do much better.

A teammate of Larry Bird was asked how they learned to catch his passes he responded when it hits you in the face a couple times you learn quick. Caitlin will raise the level of play of all those who are willing to work to compete. That’s her real value. It’s beginning to show in the level of play of her team mates and will continue to improve as they practice together.

The Last 2 games have shown Fever needs to Play fast.. CC wont get boxed in and she sees the floor and plays 2x faster than then Fever and it opens the other teams up. 2 things are killing them right now. 1 is Mitchell and Smith are Selfish. and Sides Refuses to play to CC Strengths. Line Up should be CC, HULL ,MITCHELL, SAMUELSON ,BOSTON. then Swap Samuelson with Boston when Tami comes back. They do that and can hang with most teams. For a bit they dont have then bench Like Sun, Liberty Aces, and Lynx.. Another thing thats crayz is how the F does your Shooting Guard get 12 Rebounds. over your C anf Fwds. CC is a Baller.

Considering your statement, although it's not a real parallel - men are too different, LeBron was a mover as a rookie. So was Duncan. Robinson was SICK (but just a few years after Jordan). Shaq was a Force. To be fair, Wemby, for real. I kind of think her numbers are LeBron like - but her effect on her team might be.... hmm... is it greater? Well, even if she is considered worse than all of these - we are comparing her to ALL TIME GREAT NBA players. Moreso, her numbers should climb now that her team is coming to her, they can practice, and she solves the WNBA matrix. Nothing can stop her but straight up assault (which might happen). - I'm not sure that we understand (even though we all saw her MAD PLAY at Iowa) what we have here with Clark.

“If Angel Reese gets any sort of a jump shot.” Dude, are you even watching her play at all? How about we start with: “If Angel Reese gets any sort of a layup.”

Well someone seems to be new to watching this game. Check out Jackie Stiles. Caitlin Clark reminds me of her.

Clark has been outstanding as of late. But you forget Candace Parker was ROY and MVP as a rookie.

Just looked it up; DT is the highest ever W points; she has 10307. She's 42, so I assume 20 seasons, which is 515 points per season. At a 16.5 average, CC22 is on course for a 660 point season. Can't find out if that's a record or not, because google's not being very helpful.

Simone Augustus scored 744 as a rookie. Clark's 30 points, 3 blocks, and 3 steals is listed as a rookie record, for a game.

@@leoncarlson4537 That's impressive. I was going to say I can't see Caitlin beating that total but I checked and she'd 'only' need to average 20 PPG for the rest of the season and she did better than that in every NCAA season with 31 PPG in her 23/24 season. So not impossible.

within reach, but I hope the focus is the team . It's seems to be coming together, also seems Mitchell isn't buying in.

Reese will never have a jump shot much like Dennis Rodman who was a good rebounder but could make a layup. Reese gets most of her rebounds on her own missed shots.

Rodman shot 52%. He absolutely knew when and when not to shoot. Reese just shoots whenever she gets a rebound and misses a lot of them.

CC needs to shoot more... 18-20 a game. If she is schemed open correctly, she will average 30, and thats without impacting Boston or Mitchell. If her teammates can improve their near basket shot %, CC would have another 4 assist PG. I think you wrong about being an off guard... the problem is, defenses play her tight the length of the floor- no other player is feared by opposing teams, so as an off guard, she gets no space unlike Mitchell and Wheeler who are always left wide open.

Boston needs to be her play - mate. Mitchell needs to be traded - her play excludes the team, too often shutting down ball movement that brings all team mates into percentage influence that creates team pressure. True, she could improve on catch and shoot, along with mid-range/floater/fade aways, given the practice. But she would need at least 1 other killer 3 shooter to help spread the floor and give her better looks.

I hate watching her pass the ball , instead of instinctively shooting . You can feel everyone is waiting for her to shoot . But Sides wants charity ball .
