It all about the pace, the Fever play at! If the Fever played Mitchell, Hull, Boston, Clark and Timi for the full season and Timi was healthy The Fever would have averaged over 105 points per game! So while Clark is the engine that drives the pace, her stats are INFLATED!😮😮😮

Wins going forward are WAY more important than STATS!😮
@jamesclaytonbowman5977Ай бұрын
this begs a question: Is pushing the pace of play as a means to gain competitive advantage in any way comparable to leaving a star player on the floor with 2 minutes left to play and 25-point lead? After all, the former is done in service of winning games, the latter is done in service of nothing other than boosting said player's individual stats. It's implied with the word "padding" - it's done when there is no real duress, no game outcome on the line; it is unnecessary extra playing time... hence the term "padding". Using speed in transition to increase offensive production while the game's outcome is still in question is not padding.
@berniecoderre3935Ай бұрын
Clarks stats are an illusion of pace, it generates more possessions, shots and assists, rebounds. Clearly no team has played with the pace of the Indiana fever, so it is not an apple to apple comparison. So the best measurement to grade the Fever and their players on in win percentage

Bringing in fans alone should make cc the mvp. No one else made the wnba like cc did

No clue what Sides is doing. Horrible coaching as if this were peewee ball

She is just a BB prodigy.

She has saved, is saving the whole WNBA, took last place team to playoff, ,how much more valuable does she need to get????
@jamesclaytonbowman5977Ай бұрын
hopefully her emergence will spawn more players like her in the future - one player can't revive an entire league long-term, but if it sparks a player revolution downstream in girl's basketball downstream, and changes conventional coaching wisdom long-term... THEN it is something both revolutionary and sustainable, rather than just one exceptional player.

Why is she not number 1? She is clearly number 2 by herself and she is more valuable to her team than Wilson is to hers. Without CC the Fever win maybe half as many games.

Disrespect to not have her at #3 for mvp

I wonder that the record is in the NBA? I bet she tops it, eventually.

16 turnovers in two games
@masonpalazzolo2387Ай бұрын
Is that all you say? LeBron James got the most turnover in NBA because he held the ball most just like CC did. When you control the ball the most on every game, you will get turnovers. No one is perfect.
