Caitlin Clark is going to be one of the young women who quite possibly save the WNBA from extinction. With what is going on right now has a bit of the feel of when Magic and Bird came out in 1979, there is a lot of hype and pressure on her right now. We can all agree that her upbringing will carry her through all of the garbage she will have to face, her humbleness just pours from her, she knows there will be haters and she will not allow them to really bother her. With her going to the Fever she will also have strong support there as her boyfriend works for the Indiana Pacers as well so she will have a strong anchor to help keep her level headed. Her parents should be very proud of her she is a direct reflection on them and they did an amazing job raising her. I am looking forward to seeing her play and I am not the biggest Women's Basketball fan but seeing what Caitlin Clark did over her career at Iowa tells me she is truly something special, and someone to watch.

@@yankee_tango I bet any team of high school boys in the country could beat the WNBA Allstars in a game. I don't think it would even be close.

@@AxleHawk Agreed, but the statement I am making here is that Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese will move the needle more than anyone else has since the inception of the WNBA. If Steph Curry and Kevin Durant are saying she is an amazing talent and have said she will move the needle, I tend to respect that. They are 2 of the top players currently in the NBA.

@@yankee_tango sex sells for women even if they are athletes. more men would watch women play if they're attractive or dressed provocatively. like tennis or volleyball. hence, a closer gap to viewership of men's. And let be honest, 95% of WNBA players are ugly or average at best, objectively speaking.

I've never known ANYTHING about the WNBA, but CC's skill in so many aspects of play and professionalism, especially in the face of the bs she's been up against, makes me want to watch the Indiana Fever. She's excellent. I hope she has a long, successful, and enjoyable career.

Watching her shoot long 3s got me hooked just like steph curry did. And pinpoint passing shows she is a good team mate. Not egotistical or petty like the jeslous haters. Her dad scolded her when she argued a foul call. Good move. Keep her from being a LeBron type whiner. It doesnt sell.
@goldbrick25638 ай бұрын
Yeah thats the one thing i didnt like about her game...the incessant whining over missed calls. Its like just play the game, maybe once or twice i could see getting pissed, but this girl it was like every other time. Glad she can adjust and change the behavior. It doesnt sell and its not good modeling...also, she doesnt play defense and thats pretty lame.
