Most people have that duality or contradiction but when you’re honest and have integrity it’s something to be enjoyed rather than questioned or scoffed at. CC is her. She will play with her teammates or exhibitions. She doesn’t want to take that “shine” from them or deal with jealous players about pay. If she’s smart she barnstorms 5 on 5 with teammates and a select few against college teams like Iowa, S. Carolina, UConn, then plays some national teams, like a Goodwill tour. She would make her teammates millions! It would be good for college and pros, future stars, and foreign players. It’s an ideal too good for the W to market. CC and Nike need to make it happen.

Throughout the interview, her eyes frequently go onto the courts, taking in the practice, and you could see in her eyes the wheels turning in her brain. Coach Sides has taken this team much further than any of us expected but you guys still get butt hurt.Grow up. I think Coach Sides is doing a great job, with a very young team developing the chemistry and instilling her O. She has had a learning curve just like the players and appears to be growing and by extension her team is growing. I listened to her post game and she never said "they" but "we" didn't do this or that. She took responsibility just like CC did so you guys need to quit hating on her. Coach Sides is the reason they're in the playoffs, her and the players she coaches. People need to quit "reacting" emotionally and start thinking objectively about things. Put on your big boy pants.

Totally agree with you… Sides has really come around and is quite passionate about building a real team that works together with no one superstar. This whole season has been quite a crucible for her and let’s face it she got the team to the playoffs after having a lousy season last year. Let’s give her a break and see what happens.
