Jordan, Kobe and Curry did have high impact but Larry Bird had the highest level if immediate impact of any NBA player in history and his rivalry/friendship with Magic was epic beyond words. Without that the NBA would have been a 2nd to 3rd level sport. People would rather watch reruns of Gunsmoke and Bonanza than the NBA playoffs. CC could have a similar impact if they don't injure her first. Those long spear like fingernail were micro inches away from potentially blinding CC in one eye and destroying her career. Do people realize the intent and the avoidance of disaster to the league that was so narrowly avoided because of jealousy, entitlement and ghetto behavior?

Reese had a rebounding record until she had the wrist injury. But, yeah. She's talented player only at one specific thing. Clark is a multifaceted talent. Not only did she change how her team played, she forced the whole to change how they played against her.
